Omg yes :( here in California tthere's this story on the news about a little boy who was practically starved to death (don't look for it it ends tragically) and I just can't help and cry every time the stupid mom comes on tv. :( it's the cruelest of all crimes.

Idk what kind of movies you're into but Les Miserables was pretty good. I don't usually like musicals, but it was good. Really sad though.

What stood out to me in your post is I sometimes have anxiety related to thoughts about death and times. In the past I've also had some films that played with my mind kind of the way you described.

I'm pregnant and I watch scary movies and sad movies and happy movies. My baby is perfectly fine. I agree with cbreeziw, it's not like you're terrified forever or depressed. It's only in the moment and my mom loves scary movies so I'm sure she watched a ton while she was pregnant with me and I'm completely normal.

I just read about his death on the internet and was sad to hear, he was an amazing actor. I fell in love w/him when I saw him in The Color of Money w/Tom Cruise. Those eyes were awesome! What a loss.

I'm sad too... It's scary to think that this could happen to anyone of us. just some food for thought.

yeah it true i have seen it all over now its sooo sad i grew up to that man its just very sad that he had to go but he fought 20 long months to cancer :(

Yea I was a huge Brad Renfro fan when I was younger...his death was a surprise and I was sooo sad...but like you said he was big into drugs...so it didn't surprise me as much as Heaths did! OMG how sad....you just never know whats going on in these peoples lives...his divorce, his life...it's just so sad that these people appear to have the world in their hands...and this happens. I'm sure it was an accident-but still so sad..

i know this dont have nothing to do with the site but Paul Walker has died the sexy white guy from fast and the furiuis movies my horomones out of whack i cried like i knew him but it was sad cause he has car got caught on fire so sad

i was sad to hear of Haim's death today. The Lost Boys is one of my alltime favorite movies EVER. He had a lot of potential as an actor if only he would have stayed of the drugs. So sad and tragic. And yes it is crazy how many celebs have fallen in the past few years to drug overdoses. Just think how many normal people die everyday from this too that we never hear about, the numbers must be staggering.

yeah they confirmed pain meds were found among cough syrup//panic.depression meds// and a few other things....that blows..i just hope they find only an untoxic amount in her body....

has anyone watched the final destination movies? they're horror movies and really gross BUT here's something super freaky. the air france flight 447 that went down...well there is a story on yahoo about a woman who missed the flight and died the other day in a car accident! i saw that and was like OMG! first thing i thought of was the final destination movies. maybe you can't escape death. she was meant to be on that plane and wasn't. death caught up to her! freaky.

d talk to the sitter and not let her watch movies anymore. What types of movies are they watching. She should only be watching age appropriate tv or movies a little each day.

Sometimes I just get sad and I don't know why, it is usually in the winter time and closer to February(which is when my best friend died in a car wreck). I just get scared sometimes that this depression is going to run my life, I also feel that one day I won't be able to control it and I will snap or go crazy. I am not suicidal, I do not want to die and am not ready to die yet.

Why does she think that ,has there been a death in the family or a pet, has she seen anything on TV or PC about death any talk she may have overheard ,just tell her you are not, sometimes the more something is made of an issue the more it becomes .

Has he overheard any adult conversation on death, or on TV what movies does he watch, 6 year old seems very young to be thinking about these things I feel he has heard it from someone else so be aware and check out who he spends time with and what they say ..

its an oldie but goodie and im sure you all have seen it but it came on yesterday and i cried my eyes out--Terms of Endearment! its sad sad sad, not really all about moms but its got a lot to do with it though. "Give my daughter the DAMN SHOT!" haha! the second part is called the evening star. i also like the movie Seventh Sign with Demi Moore, she gives her son life at the end knowing it will end her own and if you dont choke up when she does i dont know! ALSO!

Try to stay strong, and know that you are a better person without those pills! Nobody wanted to get hooked, I didn't, and I go through depression, but I would rather be depressed than taking pills!!!! GOD BLESS YOU and stay strong!
