I knew I'd forget some! Waterloo Bridge, historical and costume dramas and oddly enough war movies. I don't like some of the all blood and guts movies but ones like Patton, Braveheart, The Longest Day, etc. I hate gratuitous violence seen in so many today.
So, you want to know if it is normal to be frightened of, and not prefer to watch horror movies!!??!!

Many people get overly afraid and become very disturbed by scary movies, therefore, the obvious solution is to not watch them! I'm sure your husband doesn't think any less of you for your desire to stay away from these types of movies. Just simply explain to him that they bother you, even long after the movie is over.
It's sad and awful. My midwife and some other moms told me while pregnant it's good to avoid those types of stories if possible because when we're pregnant were so open, vulnerable, and sensitive. I was told to stay away from scary movies even... and Sci fi but I'm a nerd and I still watch sci-fi
Lol it makes sense though to protect yourself from those types of traumatizing things though.
He is making hand jestures (like a puppet type motion). That may be something he has seen on one of his movies. He loves to watch children's movies, and he will dance with the music and clap his hands.
My son and daughter in law are three hundred miles away from me with no health insurance and I am worried that their son might me getting lost in his own little world.

I find psychotherapy especially REBT has helped me with confronting many of the things I ran away from especially the tragic movies bit. I need a lot of conscious thought to dissociate mentally from a sad movie. Mostly because I can take the sad movie ahead and use it when I daydream- which I do a lot.
I realize how precise life is!! The baby I had miscarried was suppose to be my rainbow baby. I had to give my 9 month old daughter to Jesus Christ. I felt so broke. But prayers and staying in my faith brought me through. I honestly didn't think I'd ever go on to have another!! But I'm 16 weeks. I thankful for what I've learned. I just want you to know I am so very very very sorry for your loss! You're in my prayers and you're not alone!!
Last time I went to the movies was to see National Treasure 2 (which I didn't even like). My DH likes SNL/MADTV so he MIGHT see this movie with me. I might have to make it a Girls Night Out movie. Wish you lived close to me! We could go!!!
Try to stay strong, and know that you are a better person without those pills! Nobody wanted to get hooked, I didn't, and I go through depression, but I would rather be depressed than taking pills!!!! GOD BLESS YOU and stay strong!
My wife had a porcelain bridge placed in August '08. Upper front teeth. She's been having allergic type reactions since then. Her upper gums swell and she complains of a burning sensation along with a "fizzy" feeling in her mouth. The reactions are random and don't appear to be connected with eating. She's been taking Benadryl, and that helps. Her dentist can't explain it. The temporary bridge she wore gave her no trouble.
