I love this question. *songs that fuel anger... well, I find Rap music to be very annoying. *songs that make me happy... the earlier Beatles songs, prior to the Rubber Soul album. *songs for self esteem... I can't think of any songs that have that effect. *song that makes me sad... "Without You" by Harry Nilsson and quite a few songs by the 70s rock group, Bread... many of their songs (i.e.

I quit listening to Tori Amos because of it. I love her songs but I always end up in a really bad place. When I am in a bad place her songs come to mind. I listen to Christian Contemporary or Country. The lyrics you can sing along with and they usually don't make me cry. Some country songs can be pretty depressing too though so I have to watch.

t really like kanyes attitude, but a few of his songs are pretty good. And I love pinks just give me a reason too! And I do like rock and roll too lol...i told you my tastes in music are all over the board lol!

Anyone else have songs that they like and that helped them through hard times? I also love almost lover by a fine frenzy because pills were my lover for quite a while. These are not new songs but they are two of my fav that help me through these hard times. Would love to here some of yours.

I personally tend to lean more towards the Christian Rock songs and my favorite of them is "All Around Me" by Flyleaf. Flyleaf isn't a completely Christian band but they have some Christian songs and "All Around Me" is one of them and i just love the song, it's completely rock but uplifting and spiritual at the same time.

I deeply encourage people, even those not into rock to listen to this. Simply go to Youtube.com and search the songs I named and even watch the videos. It helps me so much and like this site, lets me know that theyre are others going through the same thing. I MEAN IT!!! Check em out, you'll be impressed. If you really like the music than search "Behind the Pain" which is a documentary in 4 parts, which you can view all, that talk about his struggle with drugs.

Do you have any other kid rock songs? i.e. "all summer long" "cowboy" I really like his music. Or Katy Perry? And for a flash from the past Journey has some great songs, but I am in lust with Jon Bon Jovi so all of his/their songs are my absolute favorites!! Music that makes me wanna dance is my choice when I need that 'kick".. Let us know what other music you picked. oh and Boyz to Men are good blues/rock..

U know what I've noticed- the music i listened to alot during my other detoxes are essentially ruined for me. i can no longer enjoy them because they immediately bring me back to that terrible time and all that i was feeling. jeez- psychosocial is ruined for me forever (ibkleen may actually find this a blessing). does anyone have suggestions for kinda good bad music i cam listen to and i won't be sad to lose forever - Justin brieber or some other sad sack. no country please.
