I would like to start taking 'saw palmetto' to help me ease my prostate problems but I am already taking warfarin & I understand it may clash. Just wondered, is it simply just not advisable to take saw palmetto whilst on warfarin because it is dangerous, or could I take it as long as I have my INR regularly checked?

The best way to answer the question is with a home heart monitor like Holter monitor if it is happening every day or 30 day event monitor if it only happens a few times per month. Your CPAP machine may also be a reason. Avoid very cold weather and have steam bath or frequent steams. Consult ENT specialist if nothing is working out. Take care.

Sweating can be a challenging issue - there is no hard and fast rule as to how much is too much. Has your weight changed recently? Are you sweating more than you were previously? If the answer to both is 'yes' then there may be a link.
