I am sorry to hear about your puppy, that is so sad:( I lost my dog gizzy of 16 years less than 2 months ago and I cried like a baby, i still miss him. I do understand your pain and many of us here have animals that we love and helped us through the worst just by being at our sides. Congrats on a week clean, this is another test for you.

Puppies take a lots of time love and yes money.

We have to face a sad truth here, if you cannot afford to care for her, maybe someone else can??

I used to be sad or bored when my hubby was working. Then we got a dog so I would have company. The thing is dogs are not just dogs, they become family. My puppy is so loving and I love her so much. So today my landlord came and said we can't have her and she needs to go. I can't stop crying because she has been with me when nobody else was. She's So adorable and I would hate to loose her.

Yesterday after noon my husband came home and found my daughters puppy dead and we dont know what could have happened to her she had no blood or anything I had seen her fine like an hr prior to this we dont have the heart to tell our 4yr old daughter so my husband went and buried her with out her knowing im so sad because after we found out my daughter randomly started saying she wanted to go walk her puppy at the park :( and when we came home from eating dinner as soon as we got out of the car

I know its just sad because i had my puppy since he was like 3 weeks old and know he is gone...

If I can give one piece of advice its this - hiding the real you only hurts you in the end and as hard as it is to be yourself without the facade you have to be able to let the real feelings come through - lets face it though we all put on a front sometimes. It seems that what has happened is people have seen the real human being and som of them have run away from reality, its happened to us all and from what you have told me you had a pretty bad experience in hospital.

Well, it does sound like a lot has been going on and her routines were obviously disrupted. Are things back to normal at home now? Is she not eating at all? Have you maybe tried boiling up some chicken and rice and see if she eats that? Any vomiting or loose stool? Is she drinking water? Have you tried giving her some one on one quality time even if it is a daily walk or play time?

That is so sad but you aren't giving much information. Are these puppies? From the same place? Did they get sick? Any chance there is something around they are getting into? Were they taken to the Vet? Symptoms? Possible poisoning or Parvo? Sorry you've gone through this. I don't think I would bring any other dogs until/unless you can figure this out.

I had the 3 years old from 12 weeks old. She eats fine and she Goes out for walks regular basis Two times a day. But after she comes home and play with the puppy she wants to lay down and she's just seems sad.

Monday night, my daughter brought her new 7 week old puppy from her mom's house to mine. I am not a dog person, but I don't hate dogs. I love all of God's creatures. This was a 7 week old shih tzu that her mom paid $600 for. It was sweet and playful. That night and the following morning we had to keep it in the bathroom. I was sad that it was so confined so the next night and day we confined it in the kitchen. I made sure there were no cords or anything bad it could get into.

I don't want to lose my puppy, I'm his mama duck (he literally follows me everywhere and will cry if he can't). But I know I have to do what's best for him. My husband is seriously mental sometimes. If you're gonna shove your face into a dog's face and play like that, you're gonna get bit in the face. The dog doesn't know any better, he's just trying to have fun! I think my husband is just jealous that the animals like me more.

I will hold my tongue on this. Do you see any part of the puppy in the vaginal area when she pushes? Any discharge, like a green color? The puppy could be too large, be breech, turned, two pups at the bottom of the horns at the same time....... Christmas or not, I woukd probabky be contacting your Vet or the ER clinic. Why are you breeding this dog? You should be more educated then you seem to be. Good luck. Hope all turns out well for your dog. Please come back and update.

I mis-read your post. I am so sorry you had to have your puppy put to sleep. This is very sad, and I feel so much for you. You must be very upset. Please accept my condolences.

my youngest son who is 2 is a bit hesitant, everytime the puppy comes near him he yells OW even when the puppy doesnt do anything. He wasnt present when the dog attack happened, and Im wondering if he somehow heard the conflict or knows about it. Do you guys think my baby will ever come to trust this puppy? I hate to get rid of him as DH and my oldest son are already severely attached, so attached that he slept with my oldest son latnight instead of a crate. Uhg....

Me and my husband recently moved into a new apartment complex, the same day we got a new puppy "German Shepherd mix." My husband has been having mosquito look like bites all throughout his body, his back,chest, stomach, he recently just started getting them on the face also. They look like mosquito bites,hives, things like that we don't know if it could be a flea infestation, a bedbug infestation or he's just allergic to the new puppy.

her mom is healthy 2 year old n is feeding all 4 pups n they have started eating semi solid food as well four days back. The puppy in question is active and eats normally and she shows no sign of pain while walking on her two front legs as she drags her body across the floor. she makes no painful sounds even when i try helping her walk with her hind legs. i am extremely worried and sad about her condition. kindly someone give me a through reply as to what possibly can i do to help her?

(Unless you can think of some other trigger for this....a fly/wasp/something stuck in his teeth/water on his face/some sore spot on his face or muzzle/ear problem.....

me and my boyfriend just got him a couple weeks ago. we have gottn him all his shots and he has been a very spoiled puppy. however two nights ago our puppy was around some younger kids unsupervised. we are not sure what happened but we believe he must have gottn hit on his head, possibly his molera (soft spot).

My dog is just a new puppy he lost his mommy he is a pitbull he wont eat and has runny poop it gets me sad coz he just a new baby and has a future aheah of him but we cant seem to swee why he wont eat he only drinks replacement mild and them stinks his cage up......what do i do ???!?!?
