What exactly does this side effect mean? Mask like face. I've seen it as a side effect you should be concerned about on all the medications I've taken so far but have no idea how you can tell you have a "mask like face". What is happening that is so serious when you get a "mask like face"?

Hi ladies do any of u hv very dry skin im only 16weeks 4 days and my face is so ry feels horrible to touch was wondering of any of u knw any good face masks creams teqniques lol nything ..

So I've started to get really dry skin all over my face and it's driving me freaking crazy!! I spent an hour in the bathroom mirror getting a lot of it off and putting lotion on!! Anyone else experience this and find a way to make it go away??

everyone says im having a girl. But then a girl told me that since my face is to clean and doesnt have the mask that it'll be a boy. lol. It doesnt matter. i was just curious on if it was true or not.

No. I have it on my face and wear makeup but best you can do is stay out of the sun.

Just wondering if any of you ladies have pregnancy mask? My skin is horrible! My face is pealing like a snake! My regular moisturizer is doing nothing for me n neither is baby oil! Have you found n e thing to help? Exfoliating is like acid right now n makes it worse! My bare minerals makes it 10 times worse!

DH mentioned early today my face was looking red so iv just taken a look its like over my forehead round then to the bottom of my nose this is really very weird iv never noticed this before iv used the same cleanser,toner and moisturiser for about 6 years and its elemis so a really good make and iv never had a reaction and i also put this all over my face,neck and top of my bust but everywhere else is a normal skin tone...i tried takin a pic but its not really showing up well enough...

My skin (mostly my face) has been so dry lately.....i guess they call it a pregnancy mask? Anyone have any suggestions? I've used heavy cream, like ponds, but I'm not noticing a difference. I'll try anything that anyone has to offer. Thanks!

I put this mask on my face yesterday for 10 minutes to help my dry skin. i rinsed it off after 10 minutes like it said to do but when i did i got red splotches all over my face and my face became even more dry. i can't even touch my face without it hurting, and i need a way to make this rash, or whatever it is, on my face go away. i have really sensitive skin, which could be one of the reasons this happened. thanks so much!!

How long, after a child's birth, should it take for pregnancy mask to disappear? My baby/toddler is 18 months old and my mask, although faded, is still noticable (my five year old tells me that I have dirt on my face). Are there any dietary changes I should consider? Thank you.

I have little red bumps on the right side of my face only in areas where the mask hits my face, ie. the silicone seal. What can I do to avoid this other than obviously not use the mask? Are my symptoms consistent with a mask alergy? My Dr. says its an alergic reaction and said to get a non alergenic mask.. I don't know where. The bumps are ITCHY and tend to be in tight little circles, some what like acne.

the mask of pregnancy. Ugggh my face has dark marks on it. My hubby said u have scratch on your face, I said nuh uh. I looked and its just a dark mark out of nowhere. I hope it goes away after baby is born. Anybody with this symptom?

I don't know about ya'll but the mask/covid era was kind of revealing to me. Mainly from a breathing aspect. The face covering showed how much it effected the eyes ( not in all cases but) my guess it's doing the same to other.

I did notice I have a ton of freckles on my face! I had photo-facials done last year to remove them. Uggh all that money down the drain because pregnancy hormones made my hair grow back also that I had removed with laser treatments.

I'm 28 wks with my second and i have the worst "pregnancy mask" this time around. They say that girls steal your beauty but I'm having a boy this time so he better be super handsome because i don't have beauty right now. Any suggestions other than concealer on how to lighten the brown splotches?

Its called "the mask of pregnancy" google that phrase so you can learn more about it, its just skin discoloration due to hormones, i have blotches on my b oobs.

If someone regularly wears a high quality mask but frequently handles the mask improperly - i.e., grabbing the front of the mask to pull it down in order to blow their nose, wipe their face, etc. - how harmful is that? Are they still generally safe given that they’re wearing a highly protective mask? Does repeatedly handling the “contaminated” part of the mask practically negate the purpose of wearing one? What if the person touches the mask with one hand and blows their nose with the other?

Yes its very bad... I have three cats and make my husband clean it. They can have a thing called toxoplasmosis and it can cause serious problems for the baby. you should have someone eles clean it or take good precaution and use gloves and a face mask.
