sad eyes kitten

Tigger has weird gunt in his eyes. I can't take him to vet either he's only at most a week or so old. Is there some sort of way I could give him an examination?

Since then, only one day I seen him eat a couple of curnals, he is peeing a small amount, had a bowel movement, which looks runney and dark. This eyes are still dialated and he is very sad. Do you have any other professional opinion to give me ?

im so sad to hear little boys eyes are still so bad.....the kitten(s) likely have FIP, this can manifest itself in any organ of the body depending on their immune systems...if it affects the eyes they likely become blind:( So I do desperately hope this isn't what they have and its just conjunctivitis. Bless your good soul for trying your best to care for these little ones..is there a no kill shelter that would take the family in and give them the medical care they need?

I am so sorry. As sad as it is, you are correct, Mama will abandon a sick kitten, it's just nature taking it's course. Bless you for trying. Hugs.

My sister has a new kitten, I'm guessing about 6-7 weeks old. Last night kitty accidentally got caught up in the workings of an elliptical walker, which squeezed her really hard. So hard that poop came out of her rear. She seemed fine after the initial yowling, but I'm still concerned. Is there anything we should watch for or anything we can do to help her in her recovery?

ve estimated their age to be about 8-9 wks. both appear healthy - no matted/goopy eyes, stool appears normal - but the one kitten has some really goofy looking eyes. by that, i mean the right eye pupil stays round and points downward all the time. he walks straight so I'm guessing it's always been this way. i've noticed that when he looks around he is really twisting his head to se everything - makes me wonder if he can even see out of the right eye.

but i have this one kitten and his/her eyes puss so much that it hardens and pervents him/her by seeing because it closes her eyes shut. i think he/she is too young to use medicine on but im not sure what to use even if i could. any advice??

Congratulations. Your new kitten is adorable! It's possible to get the kitten at 4 weeks. My hubby got one from the humane society and he had to give it milk every two hours. He was my everything cat, but now he is over the bridge. I miss him so much. Your kitten should be fine as long as you take place of being momma. :) We have 4 cats now.

I just got a kitten and some one said that it looked like it might have Feline Down's syndrome, she has more rounded pupils and over sized ears. She seems to act normal but was the smallest of the littter. If she does is there any concerns i should have for her future well being?

I have a 7 mo kitten who I got at 4 months old in December. He was a bottle baby from 2 days old. In the time since I got him his eyes (one at a time and both) have swelled up, shut and watered repeatedly. It will be like that for about 2 days and then stop watering and open back up. Probably 6 times so far. I know one time he jumped into the litter box when another kitty was there and got litter flicked in his face. But other than that I have no idea what it could be.

So im having to drop my kitten off at the animal hospital to get fixed. I know it has to happen but all I want to do is cry about it. I hate hearing her cry. I really hope she isn't mad at me when I go pick her up later today.

You need to get this kitten to the vet, clearly it has some sort of brain injury.

Help, I have a kitten that is about 32 days old and was stepped on by a friend on accident. It wasnt a full step, and the kitten began spinning around in circles and gasping. I then held the kitten and her breathing returned to normal. Her jaw was a little out of place and hanging open, bleeding. Eventually the bleeding stopped and i saw her close and open her jaw with no obvious pain. I laid her on a towel and she was moving her head around occasionally sneezing.

Awww not the kittens!!!! As horrible as it seems I'm sure your hormones aren't helping the matter any. Firstly if you didn't know she was pregnant than she provably was not far along at all. Second getting her spayed will help to keep her healthier and reduce her risk of several cancers. Thirdly, its kitten season now and honestly more kittens get put down in shelters than I'd like to think about so this probably was the more humane thing to do for all parties involved...

i have a baby kitten about 2 weeks old. i was cleaning it's eyes today, because they have been stuck shut along with a couple of other kittens that my cat had. i happen to notice while i was cleaning his eyes that his tongue is yellowish color and looks like a hugh canker sore. and he crys alot. should i take him to the vet or is their something that i can put on it like baby origel while it heals? do you think it might be contagious? please let me know.

My 2month old kitten is sick since friday. He suddenly won't eat and drink water and he vomited thin, white worms and he has diarrhea. He wants to drink water but he has some trouble in swallowing it so I made him drink water (and I made him drink milk too) by a dropper so he will not be dehydrated. Last tuesday before he got sick, he threw up with a worm in it and that's how I discover that he has worms. But after that he was back to normal.

Sad to report the adopted kitten, was taken to the Vet reviewed for Panluke and FIP. The kitten died as well as two others of same litter.These kittens were found abandon and then taken in by caring individuals. Although he received his vaccine, prior to our receiving the kitten, we feel it was ill from the very onset of its life but too young to detect and to weak to fight any virus.

Hi, I hope that your kitten is okay and she's seen a vet by now. Not sure if you know this, but when you suspect any kind of injury to the neck animal/people, you don't move them at all....esp. the neck. There's a chance that you can paralyze them, if you do.
