Running foot tingling

Common Questions and Answers about Running foot tingling

foot

Avatar n tn Since this tingling sensation is in the foot this compression could be at the level of foot, leg or hip. This could quite possibly be sciatica. I would advise you to consult a doctor as soon as possible as you need to undergo a complete physical and neurological examination. Also please take rest and do some simple back exercises.
Avatar n tn When I run on the ellipitical, within 20 minutes my foot starts tingling at the ball and raidating towards my toes? I have bought running shoes and loosened my laces. I don't know what the problem is, does anyone else have a clue? Thanks.
Avatar m tn - if you have access to a sports-physio store or a fitness expert, please get your foot-type checked and get a new pair of running-shoes accordingly. All the best, Parth Adhyaru http://www.bodyweightworkoutsystem.
338416 tn?1420045702 s quite foot drop yet, but I certainly have to *think* about lifting my foot up. They make a foot brace that would hold my foot up, but it's plastic and clunky. I don't think I would have started running again if it wasn't for the weight. I get so frustrated, because I'm really trying to restrict my calories, and it doesn't do a bit of good. Working out on the trainer was exercise, but it just wasn't enough. I'm starting to wonder if I have a thyroid problem.
Avatar n tn ve been dealing with some tingling in my right foot and discomfort when sitting down. (I initially thought i was sitting on my testicles or something). The doctor informed me it wasn't sciatica which i thought it was originally and the big muscle that was causing me problems sitting down apparently is the upper hamstring being really tight? I've done some stretching and now I can sit comfortably, however, time to time the tingling in the right foot comes back.
Avatar n tn This has been going on for a few months now. I've noticed the pain in my hip for about a year. I don't understand why it hurts the most in the morning. I said in a former post that there for a while I was tending to put my weight on the outside of my left foot. I would stand like that and even sit like that. I will talk to the neuro. about it. I know this is going to sound weird, but my right leg has gone numb before while I was walking around Target with my friend.
Avatar f tn I also get the numb tingling in my foot and my calf. It seems like it starts in my foot and works its way up the back side of my calf. And I get what feels like cold water running down the lower inside of my leg and also a burning/hypersensitive feeling. I've just lived with it so far, so I'm not sure what you can take for it.
Avatar n tn I think that you would know if you stepped on anything sharp. You are irrationalizing the woman and her reasons for sitting in her car. Maybe she was waiting for somebody? Maybe she was talking to someone on the phone via bluetooth. I myself do this and leave the car running while I'm talking. Instead of thinking the negative, try to think of the positive reasons she would be in the car.
Avatar f tn Last year I had referred pain in my left quad for which I had physio. I have pain and tingling in my foot and calf periodically. I joined a running group a week ago. The runs I found quite fast and challenging. I went for a long run on Sunday. I have had left quad pain again followed by pain on my right hand side underneath my ribs. I'm unsure whether to see a doctor or not. My doctor is currently away but will be back next week. Not sure whether I actually need to see someone.
733362 tn?1489794936 Started taper in August and got to 5mg last night. Feel pretty good except my L foot has been burning cold for a month or so, didn't think much of it, they both have been cold for a couple years (not burning) but got worse since I started tapering, it usually goes away in a few minutes. Now my foot/leg won't wake up fully. The tingling/cold feeling has started to wake me up at night. Has anyone else had numbness tapering Valium?
Avatar m tn I sprained my ankle over a month ago. I have been doing exercises with the band that i remember from when Ive sprained it in the past. I have also noticed that on the anterior side of the ankle, just above and to the front of the bone that sticks out, whenever i run my fingers across I feel a tingling sensation on the top of my foot to about the toes. I don't know if this happened before or after the ankle sprain.
429949 tn?1224691579 But this week, about three different times I have had this strange burning run down the top of my left foot. Feels like hot water running down my foot. All the times that it has happened, I was either hot or stressed. Is this the same type of thing as the transient numbness/tingling? I know these things are in MS, but they are also in ADEM too, according to my neuro!
Avatar f tn I have also had some tingling in my foot on occasion. I have now developed some lower back pain that is not consistent, but comes and goes. I have also noticed some tingling feelings on my right arm(not often, and not even sure if it is related). During this time I am also experiencing pain/discomfort in the tip of my penis, along with the tip often being very cold to the touch.
Avatar n tn I have been a diabetic for 1 year now, and kept my A1c under 7. Today I felt some little light tingling on my left foot. I did walk a lot lately. Could this be a diabetic complication already, or should I just stress a bit less about this?
Avatar m tn (from my knee up is totally fine and no back problems) That numbness feeling gradually started to be a burning feeling and the tingling/numbness in my foot gradually has gotten worse... The feeling in my foot is strange... It's like I can't figure out what it feels like, sometimes it feels tingly, sometimes almost like it feels itchy, sometimes it feels like its burning, sometimes it feels like all of those at the same time. It's a horrible annnoying feeling.
Avatar m tn Total numbness in ball of foot. Have burning, tingling, pins and needles feeling, shooting pains throughout leg and now starting in fingers. Again, had more tests whith nothing being positive. Still have no answer why I have this. Now I take 1800 mg Gabapentin/day. It's a seizure med that helps with the nerves, blocking the pain. I also take narcotics for nights when it's really bad, as the nights are worse than the day. My story started the same as yours.
Avatar m tn The Lhermittes sign is not exclusive to MS but it is situation specific, causing an electric shock or tingling running down your spine into your arms and or legs when you bend your neck. It doesn't usually last very long and typically stops with the straightening of the neck or very shortly after straightening.
