Avatar n tn I do lot of running and cycling in the gym. Just before these pains started on my left inguinal area and the left testicle, I ran a lot, especially more than 8 miles a day at a stretch with occassional running with more speed. I have no idea whether I accidentally injured and unnoticed. Can this be Gilmore's groin? Will it have tenderness in the testicles similar to the urological issues? If it is a Gilmore's groin, then how it can be diagnosed and treated?
Avatar n tn As I started training I have noticed a little foot pain on the bottom of foot which was just caused a little soreness however as I completed my longest run of 12 miles on Saturday and the next day I couldn't put pressure on my foot without it hurting nor could I manage to walk for a standard period of time. Today is Wednesday and I still feel a little discomfort in walking but not nearly as severe as Sundays pain.

Here's the thing about running -- it's really enjoyable, you get to be outside instead of locked up in a smelly noisy gym, you get to look at flowers and trees. But every physical activity can cause injury and soreness, and everyone has a different natural ability to do that activity and so your level won't be the same necessarily as someone else.

I have not been to the doctors as of yet, but I do have an appt. in a couple of weeks scheduled. & thrust me, for me to finally break down & make an appt. to see a doctor, that’s a huge deal….. Anyways, let me start by saying that I’m a healthy, in shape, 40 year old & have always been active.
338416 tn?1420045702 s quite foot drop yet, but I certainly have to *think* about lifting my foot up. They make a foot brace that would hold my foot up, but it's plastic and clunky. I don't think I would have started running again if it wasn't for the weight. I get so frustrated, because I'm really trying to restrict my calories, and it doesn't do a bit of good. Working out on the trainer was exercise, but it just wasn't enough. I'm starting to wonder if I have a thyroid problem.
Avatar f tn I still have soreness at the 5th met fracture site, still have bruising all along the outside of my foot, but also extreme soreness and pain behind the 5th met, right where the cuboid bone would be. Is it possible that after 4 x-rays that I have a cuboid fracture or would that have shown up? If it's not a fracture, it is possible I've done something to the tendon?

I hurt my leg running in softball a few months back, and about a month ago I noticed a lump in my thigh (quad) in the area that I hurt. I've tried to massage it out, but it's still there. Last week I noticed that if I prop the ankle of that leg up on my opposite knee (almost like cross-legged) when I'm seated in a chair, I feel soreness in my knee that can kind of reverberate up into my hip area.

315737 tn?1407298997 Thank you for the interest. I still have foot soreness but my numbness has mostly gone away and the foot pain is not as pronounced. I think that might be a combination of personal care, and taking some supplements prescribed by my doctor. I take Vitamin D and Folic acid. I have borderline gout blood work which is what this was prescribed for.
Avatar f tn A few days after the symptom relief, I was playing basketball and tried to do a spinning maneuver while simultaneously elevating off of my right foot. I had neglected to properly stretch and I felt a very sharp, sudden stretching, tearing pain in my pelvic area. It felt like a muscle or ligament pulling. The pain radiated into my genitals and when I pressed on my pubic area I felt a tenderness. I tried to stretch it off and continue to play but it limited my mobility so badly I had to quit.

So what ever exercise you want to do use a light weight to warm that muscle first!

Avatar n tn However, I am disturbed that even light exercise can cause me extreme soreness. I joined a co-ed softball league this summer. Running around the bases only a couple of times is my only exercise, and I am so sore days later that it is quite uncomfortable to walk. Initially diagnosed with quad strain, but am not satisfied with the diagnosis. If anyone has any insight, I would greatly appreciate any advice you could give.
Avatar n tn I took a shower and still the pain persist. It is even uncomfortable to walk. wiggling them causes some soreness but touching or even walking is too painful. I didnt feel anything wrong all day at work or even when i got home, only after i took my socks off. Any idea what this could be or how i can get rid of it?

Avatar f tn I also wanted to add that I was unable to put full weight on my foot for four days about two weeks prior to the injury mentioned above I however had full return of rotation and no soreness by the this time, I believe I pulled my soleus while running. Could this be pertinent to why my hematoma has not subsided?
11356079 tn?1421357818 I woke up from a severe cramp in my right calf yesterday at 6 am. I flexed my foot up and it stopped the cramp pretty quickly. The issue is that my calf muscle is still sore. It has been over 24 hours and the pain is nearly as bad as a cramp. I've had leg and foot cramps for years but never had such soreness afterwards. I've been eating bananas and drinking fluids but I can't walk on it without bad pain.

Avatar f tn I love working out, but I hate the soreness the next day. I did stares yesterday, running up and down, and now everything hurts. My back, legs, butt, stomach, everything. That was followed by jumprope to cool down (and work my arms a bit). I stretch and everything, but I want to know if anyone has any suggestions on how to prevent the soreness? Any special stretches or whatever?
Avatar f tn When I push my limits, my calf and foot shake uncontrollably then give out. I’m then left with an abnormal amounts of soreness and twitching that lasts days. Flexing my right set of toes is difficult, and my ankle feels heavy and weak when I walk. I have had to give up anything with a heel. My right leg is also accompanied by twitching since this all started. Should I be concerned? There’s no loss of sensation, so I don’t think it’s a nerve problem. Thank you.
Avatar f tn s daily, CA x1/day, drink lots of water but for some reason I continue to get quarter size bruises on my inner thighs and quads not to mention the inner sides of my upper arms (biceps) I get lots of these that just appear out of no where and they stay for days, sometimes they are a bit sore as if I hit something but I KNOW I did not. I only take ibprophen on occasion for soreness sooo what is the deal, they are very annoying and I have no known illnesses that could cause it, I feel great!
