running foot numb

hi my foot has been hurting the last few days it is gone numb and the back of my ankle is hurting dont know what is causing this i have a dr. appt. next wednesday.

s quite foot drop yet, but I certainly have to *think* about lifting my foot up. They make a foot brace that would hold my foot up, but it's plastic and clunky. I don't think I would have started running again if it wasn't for the weight. I get so frustrated, because I'm really trying to restrict my calories, and it doesn't do a bit of good. Working out on the trainer was exercise, but it just wasn't enough. I'm starting to wonder if I have a thyroid problem.

Numbness and tingly hands going numb, itchy skin all over 9-6-13 Numbness and tingling on left leg and a cool numb feeling in my upper back. Right foot is also numb and tingly. I also get the numb tingling in my foot and my calf. It seems like it starts in my foot and works its way up the back side of my calf. And I get what feels like cold water running down the lower inside of my leg and also a burning/hypersensitive feeling. I've just lived with it so far, so I'm not sure what you can take for it.

This has been going on for a few months now. I've noticed the pain in my hip for about a year. I don't understand why it hurts the most in the morning. I said in a former post that there for a while I was tending to put my weight on the outside of my left foot. I would stand like that and even sit like that. I will talk to the neuro. about it. I know this is going to sound weird, but my right leg has gone numb before while I was walking around Target with my friend.

What is that a symtom of? What can a person do to help a numb, tingling foot? Does anyone know? I need answers its driving my hubby nuts.

I was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting RRMS when I was 18 years old, 35 years ago, with symptoms occuring every 5-10 years. Symptoms from numbness to tingling lasting for two weeks, always right sided. Growing up in CA, and living in KS, MO, and TX as an adult, I've been very physically active and a runner, completing two marathons. I started taking AVONEX almost 4 years ago. 4 years ago, my right foot would become numb, with drop foot when running only a few miles.

Well, my right foot has been having problems with numbness - most of the toes are numb all the way, and there's a couple of patches that are half-numb. (If you know what I mean, and I think you do!) There's also a numb patch on the bottom. I got out of the shower today and my right foot was white. Not the toes - the toes were normal-colored, and the ankle was too. Hi mummas, Over the past few days my right side, and right side only has become increasingly numb. It started in toes then up my foot and now up to my knee. I'm also numb under my right breast (under where you lift the breast) and the numbness wraps right around to my back (again right side only.) Is this normal?

No way for anyone on here to tell you what's wrong -- no orthopedists on here. If you truly are saying that your foot feels numb, I'd probably go see your doctor, though. Numbness isn't the same as tight calves. That's a circulation blockage or nerve problem. Not sure that's what you're actually saying, though.

In 2009 I started having numbness in my left arm and hand. Went to dr, was admitted to hospital for testing. No lesions found. I have had severe headaches since childhood. Now the numbness has progressed to both arms, both feet, with a feeling of right toe area being numb most of the day. Sometimes the toe is so numb that it itches terribly.

Hi! I was in a car crash in May last year, I still have tingling nerve sensations in my head, but I also now have tingling & numbness in my feet. It started after the car crash & I don't know if it's caused by that or not. First it was just the Big Toe on my left foot and then spread to the other toes. My accross the top of my right foot into my big toe is numb, I can.t flex my foot up and the leg feels likk it weighs twice as much as the left. Sorry for so many posts lately! When it rains it pours I guess!! I've been having brief episodes that feel like my left side of my face feels numbish. It doesn't go completely numb, but I feel like I hate a shot of novacane that is wearing off. At first I just ignored it cause it was so sporadic and would only last a few seconds. But it seems it is coming more often as lasting longer now. It's kinda freakin me out! What is this and should I be concerned?? Thanks.

I was out the other night and my friend broken a wine glass which cut the top of my foot. Now two of my toes next to my pinky toe are numb like my foot is asleep and it feel like there is an invisible string in my foot that give me a pins and needles sensation from anything to put on sock, moving my foot the wrong way even scratching my ankle sends weird sensations down my foot. The area where it was cut also still has a raised bump even though it is over a week old....

No matter which way I lay down whether it be my back, left, or right side whenever I get up the outside of my right thigh is numb. I'm 29 weeks 4 days today and this never happened with my daughter. Has this happened to anybody else? What can I do for it?
