roxicet shortage

roxicet is percocet, roxicodone is oxycodone. Roxicet and Roxicodone are slang so the person at the clinic may never have heard of it. Keep posting daily and we will all help you get through this. I was feeling great 2 days into stopping the vicodin I thought I could quit smoking too, not a good idea, I caved on that after 2 days. I said let me take care of 1 addiction at a time.

So I have been on oxycodone and roxicet ( not at the same time, the dr will write it for one or the other) Both meds are 5-325 strength. It seems like everytime I get a script for the roxicet I end up getting very sick to my stomach and vomiting. I am taking the medication as prescribed. I know the two medicines are basically the samething so my question is, why is one medication making me sick to my stomach while the other one does not?

I've been on doctor prescribed Roxicet (5/325) for the last 4 years due to neck and shoulder pain. I had gotten to the point where I was taking 2 pills every 4-6 hours. Due to some long hard work with physical therapy I was beginning to feel like I could start going off the Rox. Then on Monday I got a "bug". I threw up for 2 days. Since I wasn't able to hold anything down I didn't take my meds.

ROXIES is a slang name for Roxicet. Roxicet is the generic name for Percocet. (oxycodone + tylonol.) Very potent, highly addictive but very effective schedule 2 narcotic. Illegal to have without a prescription. As to why it is being snorted, snorting is a way addicts use certain drugs as a quicker way to achieve a high than ingesting. Opiates give a feeling of greatness and euphoria that nothing can explain. The reason people pay so much for them is in short one of the more potent pain killers.

anybody know about Roxicet? its 5mg, i already posted but It got deleted bc I said something I shouldnt have =( but I am supposed to get those, well she said they were percocet without any tylenol in it, whatever. Is the name for Percocet with no tylenol...ROXICET? never taken it just need something to ween off of..and thats my only option i would go cold turkey but my fam things im clean and if they see me all sleeping n sick n moody they will know...

I have been taking Roxicet for 7 years and need to come off now for work. I take about 5 a day and found that i cant ween with roxicets. I want to ween with suboxones so i picked up ten of them. I understand i will have so rough days but how would you taper with this many? I can get more subs but would like to see if i can do it with this amount. Do i suck on these or eat them? Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

i have been tapering off norco, slowly for family reasons, and ran out before the taper was complete. i have 4 roxicet given to me, and want to know how small to break them up to equal 1/4 norco. i need to do this to get through the weekend as i need to drive in the city and cznnot have any more nights of zero sleep. i know driving in the city is nothing to a lot of you, but i am a country girl, and need my wits about me.

s either a Roxicet 30mg or an Oxycontin 30mg. The Roxicet is an immediate release of the whole 30mg of oxycodone and the Oxycontin, if swallowed whole, is a timed release version of 30mg of oxycodone. Secondly, telling a doctor that you have an opiate addiction does not mean you won't be treated for pain. If the doctor is a good doctor, then it just means that they are more cautious with treating your pain. That's why addictionologists are great alternatives for us addicts.

Endocet, Magnacet, Narvox, Percocet, Roxicet, Tylox

I take roxicet 30 mg 3 to 4 times a day...for bout 2 weeks now...b4 that i took 3 percocets 5mg 3 times a day...I flushed everything I had down the toilet...bout 50 roxies....I quit cold turkey...I already have the runny nose...I have 4mg dilaudeds..but only plan on takin 1 of those maybe once a day..for about 7 days...will this help...or am i in for a rude awakening???? Also...I noticed long after the withdrawls are gone..I have an extreme lack of energy and motivation...

my boyfriend of 2 years just told me 2 days ago that he has been addicted to roxicet for the passed 3 years. He says he wants to stop because he knows all the consequences and he doesnt want to live like that anymore. He does, however think that he can kick this addiction without seeking professional help...can he? he also smokes marijuana because he says it helps calm him down during withdrawal; should he stop smoking too?

I've had 2 major surgeries in 2 months and have been given roxicet by my doctor. I am no longer in pain and have stopped the pain meds. I now feel constantly nauseous, hot and then cold and would like to know how long this terrible feeling will last.

I'm on day 4 of a Roxicet taper and having a terrible time sleeping. I just can't lie still in the bed. My doctor had prescribed me Soma for muscle spasm which I had been taking 1 each night before bedtime. Its a great relaxant but I cut them out too (completely) when I started tapering off the Roxicet. Would it be ok to take one at bedtime to help with the sleeplessness or am I backsliding? Is a muscle relaxer considered as bad as a narcodic?

Hmmm, I heard a report that the drug shortage was on meds not making pharmaceutical companies enough profit, not that the drugs weren't working. Why are the people on the bottom being asked to sacrifice while the top is making record profits? In my opinion until our values alter, away from greed, nobody is going to want to 'sacrifice' anything.

I was doing alot of research last night on the shortage and I have seen that alot of people are going to the compound pharmacy to get their 30 mg. They are compounding it with ginger in the Tampa area I know and some other areas too. It seems they are expensive though at 5 bucks a pill:( I called mallinckrodt last night also and they say that the shortage will soon end.

I just went to see my endo today for a 6 month check up and was told that there is a shortage on Thyrogen in the US and that I'd have to off meds for 6 weeks this time instead of getting the thyrogen injections like I have since my second scan. I simply cannot fathom going off meds again for 6 weeks. It was a horrible experience for me the first time and I simply do not have three more years to get myself back on track again after it's over.

I would have to say anyone that could not see a food shortage coming as a result of all this and the rising prices as a result would have to have their head in a hole somewhere. Our water supply is at risk as well. So is it the result of our government trying to take us over? lol sorry. Nope, we are killing our planet and seems it is fighting for survival. In other words believe it or not, the bible is being fulfilled.

I'm not too sure what you're taking exactly. I know it's slang, but for what is the debate. I believe it's a slang of Roxicet, and this is a Class C drug. It's unknown if it causes birth defects. You need to speak to your doctor and get yourself off of these, immediately. How far along are you? It can also cause breathing problems in newborns, as well as withdrawal symptoms.

I want to drug test my son for Roxicet or the street name Blues...will an opiate test work ?

I guess they changed their formulation or something along thos lines and thats why there is a shortage. A lot of us have switched to other natural brands such as Westhroid and Naturethroid.

Have you noticed any differences in the consistency of the NP tablets since the "shortage"? I had yet another shortage here last month.

Whats the possible problems with using 2 different brands or a combo of compound plus a brand of natural thyroid short term to get over a shortage of a brand of thyroid being available???? any thoughts on this?
