360734 tn?1197554582 At the drug store where you had the prescription filled ask for the PACKAGE INSERT describing what the medication is and what it does. The drug store may try to provide you with a shrtened abreviated version of this written by the drug chain, but tell them you want the package insert, which is identical to the information in the PDR (Physician's Desk Reference). You are right in being a "fraidy cat" ehern it comes to pills. That is nothing to be afraid of.
Avatar f tn All medications come with something called a 'package insert' which has labeling that includes any risks. Did you tell your doctor that you are expecting? I would just call the office to be safe and tell them you are pregnant and want to know if the antibiotic prescribed for you is safe during pregnancy.
Avatar f tn You should read the package insert that came with the pills. It will explain to you that it's very common to have missed periods after taking plan b. You're most likely going to skip this period and either get your next one around the correct time or you might have some spotting or breakthrough bleeding at some point before your next period. All of that is normal and you'd see that if you read the package insert that came with the pills.
Avatar n tn The package insert says that Ribavirin should be considered a potential carcinogen. The package also says that further studies are being conducted; however, the package insert is copyrighted 1998, and bears a revision date of 8/01. If studies were underway in 1998, is there any more recent information available?
Avatar n tn I do have the insert at home. It said if there were NO lines it was inconclusive, but nothing about a line in the circle and nothing in the oval. Avatar f tn Yes, I read the insert. So your saying that its accurate rite?
Avatar f tn These are a combination of female hormones that prevent ovulation (the release of an egg from an ovary). Follow the exact directions on the package information insert. Take the first pill in a package on the first Sunday after your period begins, unless otherwise directed. Take pills regularly without missing any. Hope this helps.
