8101930 tn?1420001456 My son is 2 months and just received his first shots yesterday including the rotavirus vaccine. I noticed that after his shots and today he has been pooping yellow colored like normal but it is very chunky. He is exclusively breast fed and always has a little bit of a seedy stool but this is very chunky. I'm Just curious if anyone knows if this is normal or not. Could it be from the rotavirus vaccine because they do ingest it. Thanks.
Avatar n tn Came back with good counts but his morphology was horrible, only 1%. WHAT DO WE DO!!! I just feel like its hopeless. HELP!

Avatar f tn //www.healthline.com/health/sperm-morphology Remember this statistic which is that 95% of couples who want to conceive eventually do. And that it takes the average couple at least a year to do so. So, hang in there.
Avatar f tn Hello. My husband just had a semen analysis done as part of our infertility workup. The last time he had this test done, which was a year ago, his counts were normal. However this time, his morphology was low. Could you please take a look at these results? We don't have a consultation for a week, and the waiting is killing me. The concentration = 122.5 x million/ml (Normal is anything >20) Total progressive = 213.
513660 tn?1217171919 So, my hubby goes back to the doc, and the doc told him that his sperm was completely normal, despite the 3% normal morphology. Which confuses me, cause everything I read says that morphology needs to be at normal levels to conceive. So yeah, I'm really not sure.
Avatar f tn My boyfriend just got his semen analysis results and they said his count was good but his morphology was average??? what does this mean? has anyone else had this problem? I feel like, how could there be a problem with both of us. I just am upset i thought they were gonna call back to tell me everything was great, and now i feel disappointed. Please help.
Avatar m tn Several techniques have been described to evaluate sperm morphology. Sperm are classified into normal-oval shaped, tapered, amorphous, duplicated and immature. Normal spermatozoid must have an oval form with smooth contour, acrosomal cap encompassing 40-70% of head, no abnormalities of midpiece, or tail and no cytoplasmic vacuoles of more than half of the sperm head. Head size is 5-6m M x 2.5-3.5m M.
605439 tn?1220120190 What is the Morphology percentage and what was the count. I have heard women getting pregnant with dh's morphology being just 3%. It should work. When you go for IUI, they wash the sperms so you will get some good ones. Remember you just need one to fertilize. Good luck!

1272624 tn?1395434357 bfn) with iui#1 I was told my DH had 0% morphology, his count has gotten so much better now then the first time. 2 mil to 55 mil. He's taking great care of himself. We haven't had a SA since. I was told his sperm has pointy heads. I spoke to my Re last week about I'd and she kind of says his sperm has gotten better!? I'm so confused. 0% seems like bfn. Anyone get BFP with 0% morphology?
Avatar f tn DH has poor morphology (strict): 0% normal, 3% slightly amorphous, & 97% severely amorphous. Before DS (2008), his morphology (WHO) was 24%. We're TTC#2, and we'll be having our first IUI sometime next week. I have PCOS, and am on Follistim 75IU. No specific question other than curious of success stories of IUI with poor morphology. Thanks!
Avatar f tn Is it pregnant to get pregnant if a man has low sperm morphology? The sperm count is normal and the motility.
Avatar n tn hi, my hubbies sperm morphology is 16%, will it have any adverse effect on success of IVF
Avatar n tn 0, Total Count 50 Million, Motility was 77% and Morphology was at a sad 1%... After a number of rounds trying Clomid (due to low testosterone). All it did was regulate the testosterone, Morphology stayed the same. I lost my job in Aug 2009 so we had to put a hault to our journey until this past month. I recently lost about 60lbs and am taking all my vitamins on a schedule. Good thing is my Volume came back at 2.2, Total count was 100 Million, Motility at 50% and Morphology went up to 4%.
Avatar f tn ve seen a few success stories out there) and my husband and I had an indepth conversation with our RE about the subjectivity of the morphology. He basically said that no one knows how the morphology affects fertility. I guess what I want to know, is, have any of you ladies went with IUI when there was a male factor? Any success stories?
Avatar f tn My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over a year, so he went in for a Semen Analysis. His Motility and Count results were good. For the Morphology test they say more than 14% is normal, but when he took the test 10% were normal. Since the Morphology results were a little on the low side, is this cause for concern? Could it greatly effect his fertility and our ability to conceive? Thank you!!
Avatar f tn We got my DH's SA back and he has plenty of sperm and okay mobility but his Morphology is really really low. They are saying he needs to go back and do another SA and then make an appointment with a Urologist. No one is telling me what it means and if it's something that can be fixed or what. Does anyone have any answers or been in this situation?
1294482 tn?1354489288 I am unsure how the morphology works. They said that it was 22% but when they do the other test on morphology (called something different like true morphology or something, cant remember right now) it was 4% and they said that had to be 14% to even do an IUI. I will look into this more when we go back for another visit. I ordered the fertilaid and we started taking it tonight. I bought him multi vitamins last week and vitamin C to get the ball rolling.
Avatar f tn We have morphology issue too. The very first thing I would do would be to get him on a regime of vitamins. There are some that are supposed to help with morphology issues. We also deal with male factor issues. We have been trying for almost 6 years to conceive our second child. Our first was a miracle natural conception. My DH has 99% abnormal sperm most of the time. We've done 5 IUI's. Our 4th one was successful with only 1% normal morphology.
Avatar f tn After they do a regular semen analysis and if there is an issue with morphology they will have him do a strict morphology test. I would imagine a hydrocele is in the same family as varicocele, but I am not sure how it affects fertility. Does he need surgery? Have you have a full consult with your Dr since the tests? If not I would recommend sitting down and getting more answers. Good luck!
Avatar f tn At 12 months, she began to fall of her growth curve. Shortly after her first birthday, she got rotavirus and became severely dehydrated. After 4 trips to the ER (they thought I only wanted a cure for the stomach flu), she was admitted for 5 days and closely monitored. She was 17.5 lbs at her 1 year check up, she lost 1 1/2 lbs from rotavirus at admittance and upon discharge she weighed 18 lbs. A pediatrician who is a specialist thought she had celiac disease but testing came back negative.
Avatar f tn This term is used in metallurgy but in medicine it is another word for nodular goiter
