My doc gave me Ritalin for ADD and Effexor for depression but this last one gave me too many side effects and I stopped taking it. Now he switched me to Wellbutrin (150 mg once a day) and 30 mg Ritalin. I have felt sick but am not sure if it is the withdrawal effects from stopping Effexor or the mixture of Wellbutrin and Ritalin. I feel brain spasms, especially in the back of my head. Today I did not take the Ritalin and felt no spasms.
why would my dr put me on it knowing the xanax would affect it when he prescibed the xanax and prozac/...and i drank 6 non alkie beers the other night and felt like i got a buzz that is odd i have drank the stuff for 2 1/2 years with no effect..pharmmist said it might be that im on higher dose of xanx then i was the ativan.......or it was in my head a botttle has less thn 0.5 percent alchol by volume......
hi since march 3 i have been on prozac and xanax i have depression and anxiety...im a bit bettter but my dr said prozac is very stimulating and im not finding that im still depressed and dragging around....are others on prozac and xanxax with luck.....dr is thinking of adding a amphetimine when i next go back to see him...im thinking like ritalin or something....its been almost a month shouldnt i feel better...does xanax make the prozac not help with depression or something?
but he said thats only if you r prone to seizures...so i went to drug checker and put in all my meds ritalin,xanax and wellbutrin....it says the combo of wellbutrin and ritalin really increases the chance of seizures and so does the xanx..so im scared to take it now,dr also said i could drink a couple beers and i think that increases seizures to.............I have never had a seizure so maybe im worried for nothing ..anyone been on this combo?
I would contact your doctor right away to see what he has to say. Anytime something new arises you need to let him know. He will know if it is anxiety or your medication combo. Take care.
i read some good reviews on people using ritalin for depression...and i have the xanax to curb my anxiety....i just dont know if i can up my proxac to 60 mg
how llong would i notice before upping the prozc if its gonna help and should i be worried about being allergic to ritalin....its made differnet than the adderall...
well, went down to about 1mg of xanax.... which i am completely out of..... but valium doesn't seem to be working for me.... after i stopped taking xanax... i was taking a pretty high dosage of valium... averaging... 10mg-30mg / night..... i realli need to sleep... so i started with 10mg valium then another 10mg, another... i think 35mg in total.... still can't sleep... i know this sounds very stupid of me.... and yes.. i think i have a serious addiction problem....and now i am still up.
Can you please tell me if you can take Nexium 40mg. and Zantac 75mg. together or on the same day. My GI doctor has me on Nexium 40mg. and my PCP wants me to take Zantac 75mg. at night before I go to bed. Is it safe, and can I take it with Xanax 1mg. I have GERDS and Barrett's Esophagus. I was put on Zoloft at first and then switched a few years ago to 40mg of Paxil along with 25mg of Xanax daily. I still feel anxiety and depression, however, and am afraid these drugs no longer work or that I have become immune to their effects. Should I be expecting the dosages of these medications to change over time? Is it normal to prescribe these drugs together? I am also on toprol for my blood pressure. I was just diagnosed with an autoammune disease and don't want to take plaquenil just yet. Doctor said to take celebrex and a muscle relaxer. I have been taking 1 mg of xanax for 3 weeks and before that it was about twice a week as needed. I was having such anxiety and sleep issues rhemy said to take it every day. Now 3 weeks later she wants to try the new coctail of celebrex and muscle relaxer.
I also take adderall for add and xanax for anxiety. The reason that you are experiencing anxiety like symptoms from the adderall is because adderall is a stimulant. It is a mix of amphetamine and dextoamphetamine salts. It is a schedule II drug. Schedule I drugs are the worst classification and it goes down to schedule V. This is not uncommon, I have this problem as well. The question is can you live with the extra anxiety if the adderall is really helping you?
t moving and I can tell he is sleeping. He does get up and down from be; restroom, smoking, and to eat, but not much of anything else but watching tv when he is awake. I am at my last end over what is going on. Can anyone help me? He was taking other medication and I was able to get him to give them up because they didn't seem to be helping anyway. The patch doesn't seem to help either in my opinion. sometimes he will take advil or other back pain meds too.

I have never used other than pills, pot never did it for me. I am married to the most wonderful person and we went down this road together. We have talked about getting clean always in the abstract. As something that will happen when we are ready. We never thought of ourselves as addicts, we can stop tomorrow or next week. I know that day should have come YEARS ago. But time slipped by and here we are. So anyone out there in a loving relationship with an addict?
Dr is upping my ritalin to 30 mg first thing in the mornings and if it helps me not feel so down i can take 30 mg in afternnon too,but i get so anxious like it tightend my chest and i worry heart will go to high so then i take a xanax and then it makes me tired,,,,any ideas how i can stop worrying about ritalin

Recnently been feeling very stressed and anxiety out over nothing. I get irritated easily.
Looked into my diet and blood work, etc. They are all ok. Life is ok, otherwise.
The doctor said stims can cause this and gave also tenex to take the edge off. Helps a little, but its not right.
Is this common for anyone else?
i have cut back to 2 mg of xanax a day and by next week i can cut down to 1 xanax and the next week be off.........per my dr he is a pshy.A friend told me she thinks thats to much benzos...........so now im scared. I have to get off the xanax.I am pretty drowsy..but my dr said that should pass once my body adjusts.........
If you are suffering from anxiety and need to control it with Xanax, you certainly do not want to use any form of speed, which is what most ADD medications are. You would wind up in a straitjacket.
You are very wise to use Xanax only on an as-needed basis. It is extremely addicting. And here is something you might try. When I was suffering the effects of adrenal fatigue, I was told to use Xanax on an as-needed basis, which I did, and it helped enormously. I was given .
Looked at their ingredients, read posts comparing the two, and came away thinking that basically they are the same. If anything ritalin might be slightly safer. Remember these medications have been used by millions and millions of people so their track record and how they act is well known.
It's just they everybody reacts a bit differently and has different needs. It actually sounds like it is working for you.
I did try to research Lunesta and Addrell together, not finding anything on those 2 together. The info I find on long term Lunesta use states if the person does not have prior drug abuse (I've never had this issue) there was reason to be concerned. I was not having any side effects from them at all.
Question- has anyone else had problems with Lunesta and Adderall? or heard of anyone having issues with these meds? Or a reliable study showing these results or similar.
prozac has zapped my sex drive me and hubby havebt had sex bit once since the prozac so dr mentioned he might add wellbutrin later...he also switched me from adderall to ritalin and im on xanx for anxiety.both of these drs told me 2 light beers is ok ..i was reading up on wellbutrin and it says it can cause seizures and alchol could add to the seizure effect...i ask my pharmist and he said thats very rare..
I did go seek help and got Suboxone and was on them for 2 months and got better and here and there I got Oxys and Roxy and Xanax and all the other drugs prescribed by my doc not from the street. Anyway I hit the ground zero lost my husband my daughter and my job due to prescription drugs and was in pain and was thinking about killing myself. One day I decided to just pack up and leave go visit my family in Germany for couple months.
