773214 tn?1295135069 I was wondering how many of you ladies had AF return yet or not? I am not breast feeding so I know that makes a difference. I am 7 weeks past the birth of my son and have not had AF yet. Every week I feel as though I have some VERY light spotting when I wipe (tmi) and then on and off I've had some light menstrual cramping/back ache like AF is on it's way but then nothing....
937837 tn?1285350385 I thought after you got ones levels into range the menstrual cycle was supposed to normalize. I have had about 3 50 day cycles since I was diagnosed and started meds. Before my cycles were 37, 49, 34, stopped taking birth control in mid October. Was just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal for a women with hypothyroidism?

Avatar f tn He also said after 18 months of being off the Lupron, I could return to it. He never mentioned anything about a bone density test although I did read about the risk in the pamphlet. He also instructed me to take the sugar pills along with the birth control pills to make sure my cycle returns since I've been without it for long.
Avatar n tn I am afraid have another baby, my uterus turned inside out after giving birth. It was the most painful experience of my life.
Avatar f tn Okay...so I was diagnosed with anemia in November, and my doctor put me on Feosol(ferrous sulfate) in December. I haven't gotten a menstrual cycle since probably 2 weeks before Christmas. Does the feosol or sulfate supplement counteract cycles and cause them to stop?
Avatar f tn It took about 2 months for my period to return... my doc advised me to wait at least 4-6 months to try and conceive again. Everyone's body's are different though....
Avatar f tn your menstrual cycle just changed and thats not normal. i have a friend who havent had her period 6months straight. and she is healthy. so no worries for you. your are IRREGULAR when it comes to your period. unlike me, im regular, never skipped a month. regardless of giving birth. the cramps thing, just excercise or do sit ups 2weeks or a week before tour period. if you dont know when your period will arrive, just do brisk walking or cardio excercises. :D hope this helps.
Avatar n tn t had a menstrual cycle and I have had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. I am concerned about being pregnant b/c i haven't had a period yet. Should I take a pregnancy test or should continue to wait and see if my period comes?
Avatar n tn Is it normal to have an extended cycle, or no ovulation after birth? Or are the OPKs just like to be inaccurate?
Avatar f tn It is very difficult to know whether a menstrual cycle will return after chemotherapy. In general, the closer a woman is to her natural menopause, the more likely that chemotherapy will induce menopause. We always caution women not to assume that no menstruation means no fertility. You never know when or if menstruation may return and becoming pregnant while on chemotherapy (herceptin) would not be recommended.
Avatar f tn I am facing issues in menstrual cycle since last 6 months, It comes delays, I have a boy friend we did not sex yet I am facing issues my menstrual cycle delays for 6 to 8 days every month I am worried, what should I do.
Avatar f tn Physical or emotional trauma can disrupt the menstrual cycle. So if it had not been for the accident, your periods may not have stopped for that long. Also, in the early post-menopausal years (5 or so), hormones can still fluctuate quite a bit and even cause bleeding that is oftentimes nothing serious. Another thought - some medications can disrupt the menstrual cycle. So if you were on meds due to the accident, that could have thrown everything out of whack.
Avatar f tn I know that doctors recommend to wait 2 years between each child and to take birth control pills to regulate the menstrual cycle, but we want our kids as close in age as possible and I just can't bring myself to take the pills. I feel like every day I take another is a day that I could be getting pregnant. I also understand that it can take a healthy couple up to 2 years to conceive, but we are growing impatient. Is there any other way to fix my problem (as opposed to birth control)?
Avatar f tn I am ment to be expecting my periods this coming weekend I am taking birth control but have missed quite a couple of pills due to forgetting. Whats going on? Help me!
Avatar f tn A woman with a light period is not gaining much thickness in her endometrial lining during the early part of the menstrual cycle. This is usually an indication that estrogen levels are lower than normal. If estrogen levels are low, progesterone levels are likely to also be low and a woman may or may not ovulate with her cycles.
1582332 tn?1296924865 I just turned 41 and have also been wondering if I am entering early menopause because of my health issues and all of the medications. All the doctors act like it is normal. I have a period and then 10 days later another. The cramps and headaches are awful. then I won't have a period for 45 days. I cant figure it out but I too wonder if it is all related. Mine has been going on for over a year.
Avatar n tn hi! i'm 31 years old and had my first menstrual cycle after having had my daughter twenty months ago begin about 17 days ago (so cycle day 1 was 17 days ago - my period ended about 9 days later). anyhow, for the past two days, i've been having bright red bleeding, about the size of a quarter that requires a liner. is this something i ought to be concerned about?
Avatar f tn Migraines can come from different places/reasons. Some get them from heredity. Some get them because they were injured and suffered nerve damage. Some get them from chemical changes in the body... In my case, I'd had migraines since I was 12. But, my migraines changed severely after the birth of my first daughter. The neuro said that my body's chemistry just changed in some way that some how changed how I got my migraines and changed my triggers.
