My dad passed away 3 months ago and I'm in charge of his three business. Since my dad had been sick for a long time, he hasn't been taking care of them lately. So everything is a mess over here, employees think they own the business, the defy every single thing I say and ask for. My hubby is helping me out A LOT.

Avatar m tn It can but one good way to help address that is for a person to think over what reasonable accommodations would help them be able to do the essential function (main responsibilities these terms are from the ADA about employment) of the job and after that are hired (it should not be disclosed until then but at that point if a person requires reasonable accommodations has to be but only with their supervisor who cannot discuss this with other employees) discus how these could be worked out.
Avatar f tn They just don't seem to care about their employees. They took me off of Fridays because they don't want me working too much but yet they schedule me 11 hr work days. I worked 11 hours one day and came home and saw I was bleeding kinda heavy and had to go to the ER. I can't do Xrays anymore so they stick me in the lab and I draw blood for hours on end to the point my back is killing me. I feel like I can do a backbend to make ut feel better.

The state of California is looking at and probably will give at some point this year it's employees IOU's instead of paychecks...not to mention the furloughs they have already given (two unpaid days off per month for state employees = about 10% pay loss)... I feel like a jerk for saying this next thing, but oh well...Welfare checks will still be cashable!

I love to praise dance and my doctor has approved of it ive found it reduces my stress. but my pastor won't allow me to do so at church because she thinks its bad for pregnant women to do so . Any ideas on how to convince her its safe?

I have opted not to tell my new employer about my MS for now but the job will involve working most of the day in my second language and it is a new field for me so I will not beable to rely on previous knowledge to get me through days when I am not on the ball cognitively speaking.
