I did and got ousted. All of a sudden the writing I had been doing for months was no longer any good, and that is the 'reason' they gave for ousting me. My co-workers were great, it was just the bosses.

446829 tn?1212425523 Let's put it this way, Everything is related. If you have a bulging disc, then you have a pinched nerve. If the nerve is pinched it sends a message to the muscle to tighten up. Therefore you end up with a tension headache. If you are uptight, your muscles tighten and cause it. If you have a pinched nerve, same thing. It is a shame you have had to suffer so much. Work place injuries are the worst. They can victimize you over and over.
Avatar n tn m not much help regarding the buzzing in the ears. It could be related to high stress or anxiety, or uncontrolled blood pressure, sinusitis, ear disease like menier's disease, or medication side effects. Make sure your hearing is tested and of course see your primary care doctor to have a whole body physical exam and see an opthalmologist becauese of the eyestrain. I wonder if you might have some problems with your workplace - such as enviromental issues.

975514 tn?1324997938 I wanted to start a thread for those of us who have CFS and or FMS and are dealing with stress in the workplace. For those of us who are still working, the economy in the US and perhaps in the UK too has been extremely tense over the last couple of years. This has compounded the pressures I think we usually feel at work dealing with our illness and managing our careers. How do you all do it? I find myself struggling to keep a healthy balance.
Avatar f tn Facing your past is best done thru therapy, but it's a big step in already knowing where the root cause lies. The depression and anger is a result of what you went thru, and seeing a therapist can help you so much. Ofen we just don't understand how to deal with all that has happened, a therapist can teach us how to deal with it, cope better and move on. One thing I realized is that so long as I was depressed and angry, I was still being a victim of the person that abused me as a child.
10452875 tn?1436484351 I also work in retail & the standard is killer in the back. Stocking anything heavy may make it worse. If the merchandise is light & ca fit on a cart that is higher so you dont have to bend, then the moving around may actually help your back. But if not, I would ask your DR for a note & give it to the manager above yours. Explain that you have already spoke with him about it.

Avatar f tn I've probably been on more medication cocktails than anyone. Suffered psychiatric problems for past 40 years (since age 18) and have taken antipsychotics and antidepressants all my life. The past eight years have been the best for me. My psychiatrist finally found a combination of drugs that works for me. I take Lithium 300 mg twice daily, Klonopin 2mg at night, and Celexa (previously was Effexor XR) in the morning.
