Avatar n tn I have red blotches on my arm which appeared on my arm several months ago. It causes no pain. When I massage my arm the blotches disappear for a couple of minutes. Also sometimes the blotches are gone(like after I take a shower) but mostly daily it is there. I am thinking that it might have to do something with blood circlution. Does anybody know what this is?
Avatar n tn Hello all. I have developed red skin blotches about 5mm to 7mm in diameter on my body. Total time is one month since I first noticed them. They first appeared on my chest, then spread to my stomach, back and finally to the insides of my arms and legs. They seem to be under the skin, not on top. They are not raised like bumps and they do NOT itch at all. When slight pressure is applied to the skin area, they disappear, then reappear right after.
Avatar n tn ve had something similar in the past. Just red blotches appearing on skin and when I scratch it too much, it spreads and turns into a large welt. I don't really know how to describe it. Do you guys know what to do about this or what it is? Will taking antihistamine help? We have a lot of those since our family is prone to allergies...
Avatar f tn Two red blotches appeared on chest. Five days later, after using Dial soap, my chest and stomach were covered in red bumps. They aren't itchy and don't bother me except for their appearance. Could these be from allergies? Should I go to the doctor?
Avatar n tn I woke up this morning with a pinkish-red rash on my whole body. My arms, stomach, lower back, thighs, hips.... Its itches a little on places like the inside of my elbow and where my bra is rubbing under my arm pit.... but generally it doesnt itch. In some spots it looks like red pin dots but also blotchy..... Any ideas?
Avatar f tn For the past two days I've noticed multiple very puffy blotches of skin on my scrotum pop up. These blotches are about the size of half a dime and there's roughly 3 of them. They aren't itchy all the time, but when they are.... they're REALLY itchy. At first they were relatively small and I assumed that it was just a minor irritation. When I scratch them they become red-white and protrude from the skin.
Avatar f tn Hi there, It is difficult to confirm the exact cause without a complete clinical examination. Red blotches on the skin may be caused by an allergic reaction to pollen, detergents, foods and medication. Another possibility is Erythema multiforme .In this condition there are patches of red skin that may be raised or itchy. It may be seen after viral infections; use of medications etc.Autoimmune disorders like lupus can also cause red blotches.
Avatar n tn I just want to know why when I take my 7 1/2 month old baby outside with sun screen and hat on she get's red blotch's around her eyes and on her cheeks. If she wear's her sunglasses it does not happen, but she doesn't alway's keep them on. Why is this happening?
Avatar m tn I first noticed some red blotches on the head of my penis probably almost 3 years ago. These same blotches are still there today. They have not healed or shrunk since it got there. However, it may be spreading a little to other parts of the penis glans. There is no puss, they are not bumps, they don't itch, they are just red areas of skin scattered around the head of my penis. My partner and I have performed oral sex on each other (he didn't show much concern) and he has no symptoms.
Avatar f tn I am a college student living on campus and I have started to notice that after I shower I get red blotches on my right shoulder. The water pressure is very hard on campus as well pretty hot. I have also noticed a few red pimples on my shoulders and chest. The blotches do not hurt or anything, they are just dry and tend to go away after like an hour, except it is still dry. I also live in a very cold, dry climate. So my throat, mouth, and eyes get dry too.
Avatar n tn The area around my eyebrows blotches red and my forehead has splotches on it. My face and chest will also heat up. Both is dissipates after I am no longer nervous and my skin goes back to normal. What is this? Someone told me once that this has to do with adrenaline?? What can I do about it, it's affecting my life?! I do suffer from anxiety so I wonder if that has anything todo with it?
Avatar n tn I am a male in my twenties, and I have noticed for sometime (4-5 months) now that I have reoccurring red spots on my penis in various locations. Sometimes they appear on the shaft, head, and underneath the crown. They are not large, they do not hurt, they do not itch, but are unsightly. There maybe little bumps associated with this red spots, but is hard to tell. When the skin is stretched to better examine these spots it has a luster to it.
Avatar f tn So I'm a 16 year old male and I have really red, cold and dry skin on my face, hands and feet. So pretty much all the places the body conducts heat. I never really had a problem with red skin until recently. It doesn't look like a rash and it's been here too long to be anyways, some people said it might be acne, but you don't get acne on your hands and feet. I think it may be tied to poor circulation, past sunburns or just irritated skin.
Avatar f tn Over the years, I learned that self tanner or sun on the beck and chest help conseal the blotches. They seem to even out the skin tone. I've taken a beta blocker which slows the heart rate down and helps some. Since the blotches don't happen every day, I hate taking a beta blocker all the time. I also read about Zantac and Zyrtec which help block both histamine reactions. I've taken those on days I know I have something stressful, because it's worth a shot!
221913 tn?1372276661 I had interferon treatment in 2002 now I have big red blotches on my leg and on the tops of my feet and ankles what is causing this?
Avatar n tn I live in the tropics, during humid months I breakout in seriously itchy red blotches, can occur almost everywhere, although more often than not, crutch, thighs, arms & torso. I can temporaryily kill it with 'dharni lotion', an alcohol based blotch cure, but it will pop up again, in a different place next time. Then again in the same place after a period of time.
