rash on chest

About 2 weeks ago I got a rash on my chest. The rash itself looks like reddish-pink spots on my chest, some darker then others, and as big as about 2 cms and as small as a dot. They appear in one spot go away, and show up on another. It is primarily on my chest and a little on my traps. What type of rash does this sound like? I did some research on the internet and it resembles a maculopapular rash. What could cause this type of rash?

Just wondering have any of you had a rash on your chest. Ive just noticed this today. It's not itchy really. I was just wondering is this normal or something that I should go to my doctor with.

I am a 24y/o female and have a rash on my upper chest. I have had a cat for the last 20 years (I recently put her down) and my housemate just recently got a new one (about 2 days before the rash broke out). The rash is red and inflamed and I am unsure if this could be an allergic reaction to the cat. I have not gotten a rash anywhere else on my body. There are no rashes on other places on my body where the cat has touched. Also, the rash has no puss or blister like qualities.

The latest symptom has been a sort of rash on my chest, starting in the middle and working its way outward. It is only painful in the center of the rash. Also, the rash is difficult to define as per borders and has a few red bumps fer and far between. My question is, could this or is this related to my facial herpes? Should I be going to my GP or wait it out? Unsure..

I have been suffering from a peculiar rash on my upper chest for about a year and a half. Initially i thought it was acne (as i had suffered from this on my face), however it looks more like a rash, almost like hives in apperance, and does not respond to acne medication. It is made up of several red bumps about 1mm in length. They occur prodominatly on my chest. I went to the doctor when i first got this problem and was prescribed some antibiotics and some aqeous cream.

m a 20 year old female, who has recently been put on cipralex for panic attacks and anxiety. About a week ago I came out in a strange red rash on my chest. I have also been experiencing blurring vision and lightheadedness several times a day. Usually when I wake up in the morning I have had quite bad headaches which usually pass within an hour of being awake. I'm worrying whether this could be the medication or something else. Should I go to a doctor or is it anxiety related?

I get pink blisters that pop up on my chest when I get really stressed out.....they dont really hurt, they just itch really bad.....I scrub with rubbing alcohol and then put canfocfanic on them and they dry up and go away. What is this?

Hello, My brother has a rash on his chest and underarm 4 days ago. At first it was only small,red, itchy bumps and over the last few days it has turned into *****, scabby welts. He says they hurt more than itch now. Like a blister. He has been taking cellcept for over a year for an eye condition ( for uveitis). He also was taking care of a puppy for a friend. Could it be from one of those things?

About a year ago, I developed a RASH on my chest that is similar looking to acne in that it has red spots with tiny, very superficial white heads. Since this was the first rash breakout I mistook it for acne and used an acne spot treatment (benzyl peroxide 2.5%) The next morning my skin was itchy and extremely irritated, and I realized it was a rash and not pimples and the benzyl peroxide irritated it a lot. I then used calamine and benedryl topical lotion with little results.

In looking at the images on the net of tinea, I do have spots of it but it is not what the rash on my chest and face is. The rest of the rash is not circular and does not respond to any of the creams or medications given to me. This rash is just a general redness. It does not occur anywhere except the area of my chest that is normally seen through a neckline opening and across my nose and a little bit of my cheeks. I am 50 years old but still have oily skin. Any suggestions?

These bumps appear every year during summer on my chest and some on the shoulders, but never before have I had them on my neck and I've never had so many of them. They are scattered around on my chest and shoulders, but are more tightly spaced/appear in clusters on the neck. They aren't noticable when I stand facing the light, but are I stand with my side to the light/window.

Around late winter i started noticing red spots on my chest and around my clavicle to the back of my neck. they are a light red and can be from the size of an eraser tip to a dime. they dont itch or hurt or anything, they just look gross. also i am sunburned right now and since the area of the 'rash' is red the spots have now turned white. whats wrong?
