I'm worried about my boyfriend. He has a red blotchy rash all over his chest and some on his back, as well as some on his neck. They aren't raised bumps, just a blotchy red colour. It isn't itchy. What sort of cream would make this go away? It has been on his chest for about 6 months and recently spread to his neck and back. He can easily live with it, as there are no other symptoms, but it is very noticeable. It can get more intense after showers and exercise.

I was on antibiotics for the chest infection with the flu but the rash started prior, i was also on prednisone for 3 weeks but didnt help it at all ive tried alpha keri moustiersing lotion, and a first aid cream to no avail, its not itchy, its mostly brownish colour sometimes red i havent changed any cleaning, laundry products that i can think of, i dry my clothes inside or in a dryer I'm allergic to grass pollen, havent been taking antihistimes lately tho I'm allergic to so

My 23 mo old boy has had an ear infection for a week and was prescribed augmentin. he was doing better but now his congestion is way worse, green mucus in nose and chest. today he broke out in a rapid spreading rash. it started on his buttocks and inner thighs, now it is on his legs , soles of his feet (which he is itching at crazily) and on his left arm. i soaked him in an oatmeal bath and covered him in hydrocortizone cream and gave him some benedryl.

I read on a google search this can make the rash go away but not sure it. For now, getting rid of the rash would be good enough for me. Something to note is that the rash did expand a very short bit down my thigh but for the past 5 months or so it hasn't expanded rather stay the same. It also appears to almost rub off when I try off with a towel or apply alcohol to it with a dry rag. Both patchs are around 4 inches long and wide.

By the way, here are some more details: I've had this rash for around two years, it has gotten bigger in that period of time. It hardly ever itches, but does moderately itch sometimes. Other than that, it's not much of a bother, beside the fact that it looks ugly! I look forward to your opinion.

Since last night it looked really bad I put the cream its the desitin diaper rash cream. Now its kinda gone bt.

You can always try Aveno Colloidal oatmeal bath, and my OB told me to use Diaper rash cream on my son as it relieves itching and burning of most all rashes. Good luck and I hope he is okay.

One strange symptom that we have both had is the skin on the inside of our thighs burns bright red at night especially after a shower but during the day looks a dirty purple/black colour with pale purple rings on the knees and also the wrists. My doc gave me coloidal oat cream for this but moisturizing seemed to make it worse but when I applied diluted cider vinegar on the legs morning and night and they definitely improved. Is it possible to have a number of things going on at once?

I have a 5 year old daughter who developed a spotty rash on her trunk about 2-3 weeks ago. I have had a very bad rash on my butt for many years. It starts from my anus and spreads all the way round to the insides of the tops of my legs. She prescribed Valacyclovir 10 mg tablets, her anti-viral, takes three per day for seven days, also prescribed Mupirocin 2% for the blisters and Hydrocodone/APAP, SMG/325mg Tabs for pain. Recommended if pain is unbearable to go to the ER for possible admitance to Hospital and intravenious pain care. So far she has slept a lot. Thanks for your help.

I have a red rash on the head of my penis that does not seem to go away. It does not itch or feel sore. Seems to abate somewhat but never goes away, comes back.
