I have also been on Paroxetine HCL 40 mg one tablet a day for a long time. I also take bupropion hcl xl 300 one tablet a day. I still have a short temper and major stress headaches. But probably the worst part, my marriage is greatly affected because I don't want to leave the house. I don't even care if I take a shower or eat.
My current medications are RANITIDINE 150MG 2X DAY, CITALOPRAM HBR20MG TABLETCAR 2X DAY, ACCOLATE 20 MG TABLET ZEN 2X DAY, ALBUTEROL SULFATE ER 4 MG TMYL 2 2X DAY, HISTA VENT DA TABLET SA ETH 2X DAY, AMITRIPTYLINE HCL 50MG TABMYL 1X DAY.
I am physically exhausted most days I still have 10-15 diareah a day, and I am now having swelling of my feet and hands and muscle cramps in my legs and joint pain in my shoulders.
Three to four years ago, my pediatric had prescribed me 300 mg Ranitidine for heart burn. A few months later, a urgent care physician had prescribed me the same medicine. In total, I've taken two bottles of Ranitidine (approx 2 months worth of tablets).
I've been paranoid ever since I learned that Ranitidine had been recalled due to a link to cancer. Is a 2 month dose of Ranitidine something to worry about?
I also noticed when taking TUMS that I only need to take less than one tablet for it to be effective (say about 500 mg /day. Occasionally 750mg). One question I have is would it be better to only take Tums instead - even if I need to use ~500mg each day? Is that low Tums dosage ok to take each day? Or perhaps something like Pepcidinstead? Or alternate between TUMS and Pepcid or something else (e.g., Milk-of-Magnesia) to prevent side effects caused by taking the same acid reducer every day?
Hi I have had severe Hives for 2 mos. This is the worse outbreak I've ever had, and my last case of Hives was 9 yrs ago. I was in the ER 2x this past month, put on IV steroids, antihistamines & Ranitidine. I had extensive blood work done for a multitude of alleries- all negative, Lupus, Lympoma, Lymes disease, CAT scan, all negative. I've done 2 rounds of Presnisone (which helped greatly), but 2 days after the last Prednisone pill- boom the hives came back bad.
The GI doc has me switching off omeprazole (prilosec) in the morning and ranitidine (zantac) before bed. Switching the two helps and of course watching what I eat and drink, Right now I am uncomfortable from my dinner - the giant milk shake was a bit too much milk and sugar for me. I have no saage advice for this one.... but can definitely commiserate.
I was taking two Oxycodone 5 mg. Now I'm taking 1 Oxycodone hcl 10 mg. Is there a difference from the hcl tablets and the ones without hcl? It seems like the tablets before (the ones without the hcl) were a little bit stronger than the ones I take now that have hcl after the Oxycodone. Thanks.
I was diagnosed with an abscess and given clindamycin HCl 300 mg yesterday. Today it was naturally draining on its own but due to where it is located I can't cover it so I couldn't let it continue draining. I ended up pushing/squeezing it too help drain it and a ton of stuff came out (sorry for that nasty imagery). Is this unsafe? Is it possible that I push the infection deeper?

I do not know about your type of clindamycin,
but i had a root canal , and my doc gave me clindamycin hcl 300 mg capsules, 4 tablets per day for 2 weeks. I was not advised anything about what supplements etc to take along. 2 weeks were fine.
After my medication stopped, i had anti-biotic induced diarrhoes for 2 months. every day was a nightmare. i looked up on internet, ant this was very common. I had to go to my physician and he put me on probiotic dose.
8 atarax 25 mg each, 1 doxepin 25mg at bedtime and two zyrtec 10mg each, one ranitidine 300 mg) they have not been able to do much. And none of the meds made me tired.
My internist was concerened about all the meds I was taking so have gotten off of everything except 5 atarax/day. Tried to stop the atarax completely but w/in 2 days hives came back w/ a vengence.
Have ordered Rupatadine/Rupafin from Canada. Trying to find info about possible side effects, esp hair loss (yes I am vain).
Please help. I’m on ranitidine 300 2x’s day. This has been months daily worse. Thought I had kidney stone. Ck’d no Stones. Pain under rib. Pain is from under left rib to kidney. I am gassed up, with loose stool. I have slimy discharge anally. I’m wondering if it’s the ranitidine causing. Urologist has no clue. Reg Dr wants me to have colonoscopy. What is is, what do I do. I might go to area Hosp. ER tomorrow. Tied of constant pain. Father had cancers. My PSA was high recently. Please help.
