Avatar m tn Women who do not have enough vitamin B12 in their blood before and after conception have a greater chance of having a baby with brain or spinal cord defects, a new study says. Most at risk may be vegans and vegetarians, since B12 is far more common in meat and animal-based foods, noted an American and Irish research team whose findings were published in the March issue of Pediatrics.. According to the study, women with low levels of B12 had at least 2.
Avatar n tn did anyone check the babies for lactose intolerance. the lactose could be in formulas, or caseinate in other products...which is a milk derivative. that and delayed gastric emptying could be an awful combo. hoping by now things have been resolved.
Avatar n tn Well, I hadn't had heart burn or indigestion problems in years but a few months ago this started up. well I got The walmart Ranitidine for it, amazingly after about 4 days of using this I started having normal BM, it took me a while to put two and tow together then I read on line in another article that this had helped in lab tests but not tried in cats yet. NONE of the vets had even heard of it, well, it only takes it 12-24 hrs to start working acording to this drs chart.
Avatar f tn I have 10 mg Prednisone tabs with me but the directions are to take 40 mg for angioedema and gradually decrease dosage. I know that if I take this dosage I will be up all night but am really uncertain about how much I should take. Using Aveeno to sooth the welts with minimal effect. I empathize with anyone going through this experience. Any suggestions appreciated. Am thinking of thinking an immunologist since the allergist was absolutely no health.
97615 tn?1212682189 I have had CU for over 5+ years. Recently, I started taking Cetirizine (Zyrtec) and Ranitidine (Zantac). Weird combo, but according research Zyrtec is a H1 antagonist and Zantac is a H2 antagonist. When implementing both, they work better than just one. This combo has helped me for 2 days. I went into the doctor and she said that this is the safest cure for now. Supposedly, there are other treatments according to the DR.
Avatar n tn I've had heartburn this year more than ever and have found a connection with hives and insufficient hydrochloric acid in my research. Will study that more and back off the ranitidine. Thanks for your help and any more information you can pass on.
Avatar f tn I highly recommend Ocean Lakes Family Campground, it is massive and so much to do there. Our babies love it. We have been going there for twenty-one years. I really enjoyed this diversion from my constant thoughts of losing Cissy. Would really appreciate your thoughts on rescuing another lab. Kind of wish our vet would have waited a few weeks.
Avatar n tn My 14 month old son has been doing this for almost 2 months>>>pukes at night after he's been laying down for a few hours then wakes up coughing and pukes alot everywhere! He has been on 3 different antibiotics and still does it< they thought maybe drainage took xrays on chest and sinus's and said sinus looked hazey but could be because he was crying during xray..he is now on the same antibiotic he was on at first and still pukes at night.
Avatar n tn The sick to my stomach feeling has been going on for about 6 months now, headaches for years. I've had no luck in finding out what is causing it and it scares me that something is seriously wrong. (Also I have a large "cyst" as the Dr's call it on the very top of my head) At times I have a strong feeling it has something due to this cyst. I am so tired all day long and have been to the point I sleep most the day. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong???
Avatar n tn This regimen helps for about 3 to 4 hours but it always returns. I took Lunesta for a couple of times but not 2 nights in a row. Thats the only common thread I can see. Hope this helps.
Avatar f tn Hi there, I am a former Intensive/Coronary Care and Emergency RN but for the past 15 years have been on the other side of the fence as an energy clinician. Energy medicine works with the body's energy, ultimately the human body's nuts and bolts. Rather than dealing with symptoms we look for the cause of the problems! I have been having all the symptoms you guys refer to since as far back as I can remember (I'm 54).
Avatar f tn I have come to find that many people have experienced what i have but i have heard nothing about a cure or a name for this problem. If someone has an answer or the same or similar problem, please let me know (: thank you so much, paige.
Avatar n tn Its been like this for a little more than a month. A few years back, it was like this for nearly 2 years but went away for about 5 months the later part of 2007. Both reactions were right after I had sexual relations with a partner. The coincidence led me to believe std related but negative tests say otherwise. I myself feel lost and not sure what to do because from what ive been reading, it seems like the creams/moisturizers and medications do not really help so much.
Avatar n tn The body is an amazing machine, and your collateral blood flow kicked in to keep you here, and you are here now for those babies and your family. I would guess your crazy episode that led to the ICU at the hospital was caused by your fear and adrenaline rush. Do your headaches/dizziness now correlate to anything? Do you have high blood pressure? Do they go up when your BP goes up? I know it took a while for my headaches to go away, got worse at the gym, eventually stopped.
Avatar m tn Hi, my husband has suffered this same problem for I know at least four years now, and it doesn't matter what he eats or when. He may be fine for a day a week or a month, and then all the sudden he says he feels like he's weak and dizzy and feels like someone is poking his heart with a needle, his arm near his arm pit with hurt. He burps alot and it releaves some of the discomfort. Various other things as well. Generally he said he gets a "funny" feeling throughout his body.
