I started Monday and my heart rate hardly ever goes above 60 bpm; even standing and when I walk at a normal pace it stays in the 70's. I can't go for long walks without being exhausted, though today I was happy that I managed to get my heart rate up to 102 (at that pace it normally would have been at 118-124). I'm feeling tired often.

5mg of Bisoprolol (powerful substitute for your metoprolol) and a 2.5mg of Ramipril (blood pressure meds). I repeat the same procedure in the evening and everything seems stable. If you do decide to go the same route as me, I would recommend starting on 1.25mg of Bisoprolol twice daily because it is powerful. I went to 5mg once and ended up in hospital with very low pressure and pulse and it took 4 days to get everything back to normal again. 1.

5mg everyday, for to treat the diabetic nephropathy, i can get ramipril in my town but its 5mg ramipril capsule in the chemists, and his medications are over, so should i let him take the 5mg ramipril? my big concern is would the dose cause hypoglycaemia or any other effects as the dosage will be double the dose hid doctor prescribed? please help me on that, i will be grateful...thank you.
I have kidney failure (Gfr generally between 40 and 50 but recently closer to 40), and also crohns which has been in remission for years but has recently been shown to be very active. My problem is for about 12 months now I have been prescribed ramipril for my kidneys and high blood pressure, but in the last few months and weeks (it seems to me since crohns has become active) it is making me feel absolutely terrible.
So for anyone curious, my doctor told me I had SVT and prescribed me metoprolol tartrate for the condition and for high bp. I am waiting to see the cardiologist for a full diagnosis.
Also, how long does the metoprolol take to kick in? I took my bp twice and my blood pressure is still pretty high after taking it.
I was put on Ramipril 5mg as my BP was high. Wondering how long it takes to work. My pulse is low a 59 but my BP is still high. Is this normal? Im worried if they put the dose up my pulse will go even lower.
m afraid my body is giviing out. IF i try and go down of the beta blockers I start to get that rebound adreniline feeling and heart pounding agian. I'm so weak....my husband is writing this for me. I feel like I will never be able to get off thi s medication if I need to. i take 100 mg of librium per day and nothing else. I'm really scared. Has anyone else had similar experiences. I feel horrible with the constant tachycardia and sklipped beats. i feel worse from head to toe.....
My cardiologist put me on ramipril a few wks back and after 10 days ran blood tests whic came back normal. this morning I woke up with diarriah and some serious kidney pain on the right side.It doesn't hurt when I urinate or have a bowel movement although certain body movements cause it to occur. My question is can this be caused by ramipril along with my lasix and potassium with a delayed reaction or buildup?
Taking Ramipril In morning for several years. Recently started taking Laxido & banana (for breakfast). About the same time started coughing frequently but intermittently & became slightly breathless when walking. 2 days ago doctor called Emergency as I had persistent chest pain & burping. No heart attack but abnormal ecg, which however improved after being in A&E for several hours. Wondering if Ramipril + laxido + banana too much potassium?
I am 68 and taking 1.25mg Bisoprolol for high blood pressure and can't increase because of low pulse rate. I was also taking Ramipril but developed the terrible cough. My doctor agreed to me trying without this for a month. Two weeks in my BP is mostly between 125/67 and 159/75. The problem is that it does sometimes go higher and when it gets to upper 160s I get irregular heartbeat. I take garlic and Co enzyme Q10. What is the solution?
