putting nuvaring in early

I had sex while i wasn’t on the NuvaRing but he said he pulled out. I put the NuvaRing in the week I usually get my period so i know I’d go a month without my period. i’m having cramps like period cramps now. Could that be signs of a pregnancy or is that okay?

I have been on the nuvaring for three months now, yesterday at work while in the bathroom i noticed a small amount of brownish blood on the toilet paper . I normally have this type of blood at the beginning of my period. I experienced this while the nuvaring was still in, but thought it was just breakthrough bleeding. I went home on break and checked my calendar and realized i should have taken the nuvaring out the day before.

Okay so for the past 3 months I have been a day late on putting in my nuvaring. I use to put in on sundays. Then I put it in on Monday. The next month, Tuesday and now Wednesday. Well it's currently Monday. I usually have my period 3 days after taking my nuvaring out. It's been 5 days since I took it out and still no period. Should I be worried because I was being irresponsible and putting it in a day late..?

Ok, but if I failed to use a back up method should I consider emergency contraception?

Just wondering if anyone has gotten pregnant on the nuvaring? Oh and if when you put it back in are you suppose to do it at the same time of day too?? I know you are suppose to put it in on the same day, not sure about the same time? I don't think I've been putting it in at the same time of day. I had a little cramping around the time I SHOULD have been ovulating. Didn't really think anything of it at the time.

My question is, will it harm me or cause me to go into early menopause if i stop? I took it out last week and do not plan on putting a new one in or refilling my prescription. Also could the nuvaring have thrown off my natural menstrual cycle because I feel like I have PMS two weeks before I take it out? this has been happening for a while. Are there any natural hormone supplements i should take?

You started Nuvaring, it can take a few days for your period to start especially when your on yo ur first mornth of Nuvaring. It takes 3 months for your body to regulate hormones. Now if you had unprotected sex within the first week of being on nuvaring (if you hadn't been on another birth control method before) then it's possible to get pregnant. I was on Nuvaring for 3 months and had no issues with it.

Am I supposed to expect my period around the old normal time or look for it at the beginning of the month now. I know you are supposed to put it in the Sunday after your period begins. I've used Nuvaring ever since it was introduced and never had a problem but like I said my periods have always been regular. Just want to know when to expect it. My boyfriend and I were TTC and I don't want to start BC without knowing I didn't miss a period. Please Help!!

I would definitely get a pack of FRER's and test tonight as well as tomorrow morning to see what it shows. If you are pregnant though, putting the NuvaRing in won't actually do much except maybe cause you to miscarry so I'm not sure using it will help. It takes time to actually offer protection as well so I personally would say don't bother with it and just not use it.

No docs Ive talked to since have heard of this being used for anything other than birth control my but tubs have been tied for years.After having nuvaring in for almost three weeks i started to bleed lite not spotting and its dark and not a pleasant smell at all never have had an Oder like that in 46 years and i cant stand it.Also I had very painful cramps only on left side.

ve tried in the past, so far I have no noticeable side effects, except I inserted the nuvaring on the first day of my period, over 2 weeks ago, and my period hasn't ended yet! Its very slowly transitioning from medium to light to very-light flow, with less normal discharge than I'm used to in the last day or two of my period. I also have constant cramps. Not enough to stop me from living but a constant pelvic ache.

I recently had unprotected sex with my new girlfriend who is on the Nuvaring birth control (however isn't any longer due to this problem) and a couple days later I noticed an intense burning sensation on my penis head and shaft. my doctor told me I was suppose to wait 7 days before the nuvaring can take effect after I inserted the nuvaring on the 4th day of my period.. I had sex with my boyfriend on two of the days before the 7 days were up.. but we did the pull out method. I have an ovulation calender on my phone and it said that I would ovulate a couple days after the 7th day was up.. do I have anything to worry about still if I didnt ovulate during the time I had sex?

LEGALLY your mother can't force you to get the shot. IT can make you gain weight, I put 50+ lbs on with it. Personally I'd suggest the Nuvaring if it's an option. I spent 3 months on it and LOVED It! The reason is Nuvaring is low dose, you won't normally put weight on with it, and it's easier than a pill and you don't have to remember it every day the same time.

My last 2 periods were 4 and 5 days late, both lasted 2 days only then went away without me putting the ring in. I took a test both times I was late and they were both negative. Ive been having some symptoms of pregnancy (ie sore breasts, barfing all last night, bloating feeling, spotting etc.) Im going to go to the doctor as soon as I can get the car to see whats going on. my girlfriend was supposed to put in her new nuvaring on sunday night but was a day late and didn't put it in till monday. it says on the directions if this happens you should use backup protection for 7 days. we didn't wait 7 days and had unprotected sex on friday night (day 9 of cycle) and no withdrawal method was used. she refused to take plan b because she claimed she couldn't get pregnant. im freaking out now....what are the chances she got pregnant?

Hi, my names rachel I have three children. For the past three months my periods have gone haywire! I'm normally every 28 days and lasting about 5-6 days. My periods have been pretty much the same for the Last 12 years. Now the lsat three months my periods have been extremely heavy with large clots (usually about the size of a lime) then when it comes it lasts for 5-6 days stops for about 2 days then comes back for 5-6 days. I am also experiencing acne which before was never an issue.

We are ttc and I was on nuvaring. I was supposed to start my period sunday and I still havent but have taken a pregnancy test and it says negative! Is it possible its a false negative or to early to test or is my body just late from stopping bc? Anyone have any advice?
