4483971 tn?1401777079 For about a week, I've had the same dream. In my dream, I stick my hand in my mouth and start wiggling my wisdom tooth back and forth. I finally just yank it out. The dream ends with me covered in blood. I read that if you dream about your teeth falling out, it's a sign of you having alot of anxiety. I can't find anything on pulling them out yourself tho...
Avatar f tn How likely is it that a person can get pregnant by there partner using the "pulling out" method as birth control?
Avatar f tn I had a 2 fillings performed on an upper tooth on about a little over a month ago. Before I went in for the filling, I'd been having terrible tooth pain and had developed an abscess on the gum above that tooth. At the same time, I was experiencing a pressure/pulling sensation down my jaw, around my ear and down my neck. I was first given a round of antibiotics, and the pain, abscess and pressure/pulling sensation all went away.
208686 tn?1293030503 Yes, dreams about the kid coming out and already walking & talking? That's me. Teeth with a big smile going for the boob, hilarious. I on occasion will have a bad dream where one or more of my teeth falls out. They say that means I'm talking behind someones back to much, ooops :0) I have had Several dreams with old boyfriends, on and on and on. That is weird.
Avatar f tn I had a dream that my tooth fell out in my family which we are Spanish we believe a dream of teeth or a tooth falling out means death like someone is going to pass. Anyone else believe this?
Avatar f tn have you checked with your dr if u have diabeties or low iron? sometimes loss of blood can cause low iron is it possible you lost alot when you had your wisdom teeth out?
Avatar f tn It has appeared to have been loose and tonight she thought she was pulling her tooth and just the stainless steel cap was pulled off. The small amount of tooth underneath is still inplace and does not appear to be loose even though she has pulled the ones corresponding to it on the opposite side. There is no pain. Will it eventually loosen up and be pulled or is this a trip to the dentist? She cannot get a good grip on it since it is so small. Thank you for taking the time to answer.
Avatar n tn t curl their lips or make a face, they hold their mouth slightly open while flicking their tongue in and out. In most cases, saliva drips out in copious amounts to facilitate carrying the smell to the organ. This sticking in and out of the tongue that you're seeing could possibly have something to do with this. If she is acting normal in every other respect, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Avatar m tn Hi Niko thanks for the input. My dentist said i have a dead front tooth due to the abcess, he said i should do a root canal or infection could repeat itself. thing is i have been oil pulling for a month now with coconut oil. i still have very little pain that happens once and awhile but looks like it could work. But i'm not sure if oil pulling will regenerate the tooth. I don't want a tooth extraction cause its my upper front tooth.
Avatar n tn Sounds like you need an antibiotic, and even some vicoden or something. I'm sure being pregnant limits your options for pain control, and maybe even the antibotics. The doctor, or dentist who did the extraction should have given you antibiotics and pain medication if they were needed. I'd call whoever extracted your tooth and find out if pain medication and/or antibiotics are warranted.
Avatar f tn For a few years now I have to be very careful how I lay my head, how I keep my head turned ( I have to keep it straight with the rest of my spine), and how I have my right or left arm positioned. I sleep sitting up in a chair a lot because if I lay the lease bit wrong, the gum on a tooth on my right side will swell up and start hurting within seconds.
730826 tn?1317943334 I had this dream all the time as a teenager. My teeth would either get so loose they fell out or just crumble. Now I have it once or twice a year.
Avatar f tn Thanks for your comment The dentist discovered I needed a crownl on my upper right molar (tooth #3) after I complained of cold sensitivity and continued pressure in my upper teeth, and then dentist discoverd two cracks in tooth. (I don't know if the pressure in my upper teeth which I began to feel a few weeks before this was just a coincidence or related to the one bad tooth.
Avatar n tn Lower retainer popped off tooth next to right canine, has been pulling on the middle front tooth (R), now pain with tooth next to canine on the Left side. Also in the gumline (back of tooth, under tongue) has something popping out, it is soft and hasn't broken through the skin yet - is it the nerve? Please help :o) Serious answers only. Thank you. Also, will taking the retainer off get that tooth and nerve back to where it should be or is it damaged?
Avatar f tn But another told me that if the root is too difficult to pull out (impacted, etc.) he would choose to leave the inaccessible piece of the root in place, especially if it is too close to the nerve. What problems can a piece of root left behind cause, after an extraction, in the short-term and later on? And what are the pros and cons of leaving the piece of root in place, if its extraction would otherwise entail possible severance of the nerve, and/or a lot of bone-cutting?
Avatar n tn The dentist took an x-ray and said the tooth was abcessed and the tooth needed to be pulled. When she was pulling the tooth, I was in excrutiating pain, and she said there was a pus discharge and my gums were turning black and blue. My questions are: Should I have been given antibiotics first, and then come back in a few days to have the tooth pulled, after the initial infection that I complained about had been given time to clear up?
Avatar f tn Ok so I am 36 weeks tomorrow. I've been having this reoccurring nightmare where I lose all my teeth. Last night dreamed I was At the hair dresser and they had to give me a bag to spit all my teeth in because they just kept falling out non stop!!! It's scary!!! Any of you ladies having crazy reoccurring dreams???
1035252 tn?1427227833 and my 2 year old was having a hissy fit the other day and chucked a bottle over her shoulder which promptly smacked me in the mouth and chipped the tooth..so my entire face and head have been throbbing. I am getting in to see a dentist hopefully next week (bad timing with the holiday) but for now I called my neuro to see if he's willing to prescribe a few days early...like I said, I THINK he will but I'm kinda anxious about it...
Avatar m tn My dentist told me that when a composite filling hardens, it actually shrinks a little and could be pulling in the sides of the tooth a little. He further stated that when I bite down on something firm, that adds some additional flex to the tooth, which is causing the pain.
Avatar n tn i was kind of freaked out because i waited so long should've listened to the advice from betty sue gets married--i woul've taken better care of my teeth
1123567 tn?1318233260 These kind of dreams are more intense than your average dream. Now last night I had a dream that I was smooth sailing on a river and passed bridges, and was really at peace with myself. I am guessing that means I've overcome my hardships and am moving on. If you can relate, let me know. Other than that, how is everyone?
1605619 tn?1301631851 yes it is expensive but you want to save the teeth if possible. pulling a tooth will leave you needing a bridge and if just left a hold then the surrounding teeth will start to move in order to accomodate for the missing tooth.
Avatar f tn I have been having these nightmares ever since I was 13,am now 21.I can't wake up easily because something keeps pulling me back. And when I do,ii can't sleep again there and then because the nightmare continues from where it stopped.
Avatar m tn And I was fully aware of everything he was doing, just not alert enough to say stop. He kept pulling yanking and yanking and pulling but that tooth didnt want to budge, when that didn't work he started using something else i dont know what it was, so he would alternate between the yanking and pulling and that other tool. It did finally come out, he didn't fully stitch this tooth said it was too close to my other teeth for him to do it, so it was left open. something didnt feel right.
