I have no idea if all the medications you have been taking for different health matters are causing your breast and libido issues. This Forum deals solely with breast problems and I don’t think that your symptoms are indicative of breast cancer because this disease in male breast, typically presents as a painless mass behind the areola. But a movable tender lump is most likely to be a cyst .
5 mg for one year and 1 mg for 1 year till today), In october 2016 my derm put me on accutane 10 mg and minoxiline(100mg) for treating my mild acne, I had been drinking heavily for 5 days before starting my accutane course, 10 days into the course, I started to have Gyno(Unilateral, right breast with a movable tender lump), I dropped accutane and minoxiline and also propecia after 23 days. It has been a month now but my Gyno hasnt reduced, I restarted propecia as I was starting to lose hair.
Hello I'm 26yo and over the past month my chest has become puffy and my right breast is slightly larger than my left. They have increased fat deposit and i feel a glandular mass under the nipple.
My doctor suspected it was my propecia(finasteride) 1mg i've been on since January and I stopped it 3-4weeks ago and there is still some tenderness. But in addition I was put on adderall about 1-1.5 months before that.

I do not want to stop taking Propecia because it has done wonders for my hair. Propecia has halted my hair loss and has re-grown considerable amount of hair. Thus, I need to address my erection problems while still being able to take Propecia. I read that L-Arginine could help with my erectile problems and that it works similar to Viagra. Thus, I began taking L-Arginine, 1500 mg. twice a day. It has helped but it has not solved the problem.

I took this propecia pill for 5 years 1mg a day everyday.. since I was 17 with little to no side effects besides no morning erections and watery semen.. turned 22 oct 2nd of 2016.. as the months went on I felt like my penis wasn't working like it should.. my erections seemed much weaker.. I stopped being hard during sex twice with my girlfriend..
Hello I have been using Rogaine and Propecia 1mg a day for the last 6 years , my alts and so on have always been high around 150 , my gastro doctor 6 years ago it is fine to be using it , now I have stage 11 Fibrosis and will
start treatment probably in the next year or so I wil try and wait for telaprevir .
Is it safe to use rogaine & propecia while on treatment ?
To my horror I came across this page and saw your posts. I stopped taking propecia more than a year ago and have not regained any of the sexual funtion i lost while taking the meds. My erections are LAME, my seaman volume is a joke (and it used to come out like a garden hose) and my orgasms dont even feel that great. I can go months and months now without masterbation and dont even feel horny. This NEVER used to happen to me.

s assistant pretty much ruled out telogen effluvium, told me it was androgentic alopecia, and wrote me a prescription for Propecia. I almost wish I had not went to this appointment as I now have to decide between what this PA concluded and what seems like common sense.
Does this seem like a correct diagnosis or should I get a second opinion?
Forgot the most important word but you can insert mind, energy level, memory, skin moisture, restful sleep and a few others and the sentence will still be correct. Treatment is tough and in the big scheme of things hair loss is the least of your worries. I know as young man of 32 it's difficut to understand that but it's very true.

It has been found that the sexual side effects associated with the hair loss medication like Propecia, includes problems with libido, ejaculations and orgasm and it could last even after patients stop taking the drug which may be months to years.

My sex drive is no where near where it was before taking propecia and besides the erections I get in the morning or when I am sleeping, I still do not get spontaneous erections. I also don't get erections unless physically stimulated. My imagination or the sight of an attractive girl doesn't do it like it did prior to taking the drug. I don't feel aroused or want sex hardly ever.
Finasteride is an underestimated and dangerous pill for hair loss. Its hard to stop it and not experience libido issues. You are lucky enough that you took it for so little time. There are other people taking it for years facing serious hormonal side effects. It will probably take as long as you took the tablets to feel like before. So a couple of months is a good projection as this pill changes hormonal balance in your blood and gene expression about androgen receptors.

What you've done is reduced your risk for another estrogen positive breast cancer and ovarian cancer. But that doesn't mean you won't get a different type of breast cancer in the remaining breast tissue or another part of your body.
But you know as well as I do that each year we are NED with cancer is better for our odds.
I am 55 years old had recttal cancer removed 4/o8, and luckly no bag and no treatment. I have dense breast with micro calcification. Had a biopsy of right breast 2 years ago and was fine. Went for mamo and sono this past Monday and they saw microcalcification that they say is suspicious. So next friday I go to the hospital for yet anothet biopsy.
