I've had occassional PVC's for 20 plus years. I also have Mitral Valve Prolaps. About 2 months ago I started taking Prilosec for reflux. I then began to have a huge increase in the number of PVC's. Sometimes lasting all day. I've been on an event monitor for the past 2 weeks. I didn't even think that to relate this increase in PVC's to the Prilosec until about a week ago.
t see it. I am also taking prilosec and gaviscon for stomach problems and I seem to have my heart palpitations under control with my stomach getting better. ( i believe they were gerd related) Perhaps the prilosec is causing my heartrate to go up. perhaps it is causing me to work through my synthroid faster? What do you all think?
i am 32 years old just had my birthday and was out drinking a couple days before that my chest had a weird sensation,,then after a couple hard night of partying I haave anxiety, constant heart palpitations, Ive been listening to it and feeling my heart but it doesnt sound like its skipping beats but im really aware of it, dizzy and kinda short of breath..I also have gerd and have been on prilosec for 4 years.. should i be concerned or is this an anxiety disorder or side effect of prilosec??
pylori a year ago, but was not having any symptoms, as far as acid indigestion or heart burn,, my doctor told me i had to take prilosec and a triple antibiotic treatment.. well long story short, i still have h.pylori and now developed GERD and Acid Reflux because of the long term use of prilosec.. I cannot stop taking the prilosec because the acid and chest pain come back times a million, and i cant eat really anything anymore..
I had many problems with heartburn, and Reflux, mainly the result of Radiation to my Esophogus, Over the years I had many problems with swallowing food getting stuck. I have had 20 + Endoscopy's. finally my Doctor sent me to an Allergist, I found out I was Allergic to many many Foods, Ingredients. I f I / you can Avoid many of these foods it will help tremendously with Reflux and Heart Burn. it may not solve all the Problems it'll help alot.
Weird stool colors (bright yellow, not to be graphic) Some stomach pain, breathing problems off and on (lik sortness of breath) and sinus problems (especially in my eaars )headaches even sometimes muscle spasms!!! the problem is that the symptoms are soooooo different and I don't have insurance to be tested!!! This has been happening for 7 months and I am so tired of all of it. I have literally cried myself to sleep MANY of nights.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Because of my remote location, a trip to the ENT was very expensive and I declined to go. Eventually it did clear up and heal and go away, and I went on with my life.
Fast forward to last week, I've been feeling a bit stressed and noticed my heart burn and IBS acting up a bit. I did basically nothing for it, hoping it would just go away. The post nasal drip / throat clearing and dysphagia started again a few days ago.
You can visibly see her heart pounding in her chest and her heart rate is elevated. She tells me that her heart "bleaping" comes before her nausea therefore leading me to believe that it is the cause of her vomiting. Other symtoms she has are weakness in her arms and legs (she lies on the floor like a dead fish) and she says that her legs are hurting. I dont know if she is confusing pain with weakness or if it is really pain.
I got this under control with prilosec and took it for about 4-5 months. I tried coming off of it and after a few weeks the heartburn was back with a vengeance and I had a new symptom. Ectopic beats happening a lot, especially at night. I've had the odd ectopic beat over the years but I'd have one then they would dissapear for months. Now it was one all the time every night and the only thing that gave relief was burping.
I went to my family doctor a week later. He listened to my heart and said it sounds good and there is no heart murmurs. He sent me home with prilosec. It has felt better for a week now but just yesterday I raised my voice a little and noticed my chest is feeling sore again. I did start drinking tea again. Is the blood test the ER performed on me still reliable at 3 days or 67 hours from when I had my first initial chest pain on Saturday 4-10-2010 at 3 am?
He thought it was maybe just heart burn, but he trys taking diffrent heart burn medicines and it never seems to work. He usually just trys to tuff it out and says he will be okay. The chest pain does not go away for about a hour, but the headache and dizziness is just a few minutes. The coughing is like he has something stuck in his throat or something not just a little one. I was wondering if you have ever heard of anything like this?
