They both work well, but they lighten up my entire face rather than just evening my skin tone so now my face is visibly lighter than the rest of my body.

I took antibiotics for some 20+ years for skin inflammations.

Avatar m tn Hi, I'm Rhyan, from the Philippines. Well, I'm an acne sufferer.. 3 months ago, I was perfectly looking good, my face was clear, there was pimples but you could rarely see them on my face and they were getting healed naturally and fast. Avatar n tn I do agree that your skin does get used to proactiv as with anything else you use, but my son had the worst acne possible and the best thing to do is to change your diet. This is crucial. Use a good probiotic is essential too. My son also uses colliadial silver soap. But I did like your ideas of the clansonic. I am not fond of many of the prescription medications because of the side effects. My son uses limited proactiv, mostly he has changed his diet.
Avatar n tn I'm 17 years old this will be my first. Currently I'm 12 weeks 4 days and I've been getting acne; I know it might be because I'm still a teen but I never had it before. So can you get it from being pregnant? I do take care of my skin and body. Is there any way I can prevent it?
Avatar f tn My acne never went away until I read a few books about acne + diet, and learned that diet actually has EVERYTHING to do with acne (unlike what doctors tell you). Avatar n tn Make sure you wash this area twice a day when you wash your face. Neem soap may help. You can use white vinegar at night to dry the pores. It will cause some redness, which is why you want to do it at night. Or you could dilute the vinegar with witch hazel if it's too strong. It is very easy to miss your nose when you wash your face if you're not paying attention. And toothpaste is extremely drying and can be a quick cure.
