Well while I was taking hydro my acid reflux seemed so much better, I was down to 1 prevacid every other day..Well as of wed. it has come back hard and fast. Back on 2 a day. I'm 16 I started my cycle at 13 I've been on the pill to help with my severe cramps and around January 2012 I had a break through period that should have not been there I went to the ob gyn and they said I was still developing and it should be fine, but it never fixed itself from then to now I've been on depo which didn't work, estradiol, and the implanon, which all have not worked. I have been bleeding every day or every other day out of the year.

I just saw your post. I take 50 mcg's of synthroid every other day and I feel like a million bucks after doing so. I did it on my own because I felt and looked like **** when taking it everyday. I skip the medicine entirely every other day. It's a mistake to take two different doses every other day. Just stick with one dose every other day and give your body a total rest from the medicine every other day. I don't know why it works but it works.

i have a 2 yr old little girl who has been having loose stools every other day for the past few months. the frequency is normal (1-3 x's)per day but its starting to worry me. She is not weak or anything, infact she is full of energy but im starting to get a little worried.

I will burp up a sulfur smell (without reflux) and after about 4 hours of these nasty burps I will start vomiting and dry heaving (about every 30 minutes for 6-8 hours). After that, I feel better untill the next bout occurs which can be weeks or months. I have a colicky feeling in my stomach that usually dosnt produce flatus almost always (wheither or not the burping episodes are going on) but other than that, there is no abdominal pain associated except for the vomiting.

Entecavir is very expensive in Philippines. Can I take it every other day? Or Can I split it to half?

Anyone know whether it is okay to take levothyroxine every other day? I am prescribed 75 mg for hypothyroidism, but due to insurance I decided to take levothyroxine every other day and 6 months later my blood test showed that my thyroid levels were...normal. How can this be?? In fact, I really have not felt any side effects from this decreased dosage.

I have variable pain day to day. Almost like clock work it is low one day, moderate or high the next, low, moderate until after I haven't injured myself for a while then it startst to level off. I did notice that when I took either Tylenol or Celebrex on the bad day it started to break the cycle. Any suggestions or has anyone seen this?

Is it safe to take every other day. I find that it does help my depression when I take it this way but I am not sure if it is going to cause more problems by taking it this way. Thanks in advance.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF PREVACID USE WITH HEP C? SINCE ITS EXPENSIVE IS THERE A GENERIC FORM?

I had been taking prevacid for two weeks prior to the EGD due to the trouble swallowing NOW i want to stop taking the prevacid and every time i try i get really sick. I get weak, nauseaus and for a day or two i literally go to the bathroom constantly and have loose yellow stools with stomach cramps. I went to the doctor and she thought it might be IBS but it doesnt happen unless i quit taking the prevacid for a couple of days!! Has anyone experienced this? If so, what did you do to stop it???

I was diagnosed with GERD because I have heartburn and I often regurgitate. However, for the past month I have felt like something is stuck in my throat and I am getting nausea every single night. It is so incredibly frustrating. I'm good for most of the day, and then 6-7pm hits and I get nausea. I have to lay down. The only thing that helps is going to sleep. I am on Nexium and it has done nothing. I still feel the same. Doc just told me to try Prilosec OTC so I started that today.

Well...I had called my family doctor once again because I feared Conner was suffering from both a Milk and Soy intolerance. My doctor finally refered me to a Pediatric GI and I had Conner seen that day. Everything went okay, it's better news than I had expected, but it's still news I was hoping I didn't get. One a good note, Conner is not allergic to soy(thank god). He does however have a severe Milk allergy that he may not outgrow.

I was told to first reduce the amount of Nexium by half every other day (40 mg. one day, 20 mg the next). I did this for several weeks, using a generic antacid (containing calcium an, magnesium) if I needed to. But I found it didn't need to use the antacid very often if I ate small meals every few hours and avoided trigger foods. After a few more weeks, the doctor told me to try taking just 20 mg of Nexium every other day, using the generic antacid as needed if I felt a little reflux.

If it still continues, I would revisit the doctor or get a new one. I also have stomach problems and I take another med, similar to prevacid, every day and I know I can't eat rice anymore. Every time I do, I feel awful. Good luck and God bless.

I have recently been diagnosed with a small hiatial hernia. I take prevacid twice a day. Could this be reducing the acid too much or destroying good bacteria? Also I eat extremely bland every meal, try to avoid gaseous food and all dairy products. Any suggestions as to what may be causing this severe bloating? Oh and I seem to have mild pain or discomfort in the upper mid-section of abdomen often.

I am having a problem with taking my Prevacid 4 hrs. after Synthroid. Right now my routine is to take Synthroid when I first get up and 6 AM. an hour later eat something void of fiber (usually egg sub.) The 4 hrs. later I take the Prevacid and have another small meal (cereal usually). The problem is something is causing a bad taste to come back in to my mouth sometime after all this and I am thinking it is because the Prevacid really is not being taken prior to eating.

Last week I was diagnosed with a duodenal ulcer and am taking Amoxicillin, Biaxin and Prevacid. I am one week into treatment and feel only marginally better. My question is about stomach tenderness. Is a tender stomach normal with a peptic ulcer? My entire stomach area, from just below my breasts, down to my navel, is very tender to the touch. When touched it produces like a burning/stinging/bruised feeling. Depending on the day, or time of the day, the pain is greater or less.

I get mucous in throat after eating anything. Been getting worse. Causes me to gag cough and throw up at least every other day. Doc gave me Omeprazole. Doesn't help. It's consuming my life. I have been having periods every other month, which the doc would like it to come every month for only 7 days. But I would say to call the doc on monday, and see if they can see you.
