What type of prenatal vitamins is everyone on? What doesn't make you naseous? Any thoughts suggestions. I heard the ones from trader joes are good?

Please keep in mind prenatal gummy vitamins don't have iron in them (I'm a nutritionist and I have looked at the different brands and they don't have iron).

Is it ok to switch prenatal vitamins? Also, does anyone take Vitafol Ob?

I feel like my vitamins and prenatals are making me nauseous and have headaches. All i wana do is sleep to forget. Dr gave me calcium 2 a day, ferrous sulfate for iron deficiency 3 a day,laxative pill, folic acid 3 a day, fish oil pills 3 a day... isnt too much iron bad for you? And i thought this was soo much. Iam 8 wks pregnant not knowing what to expect (my first child) iam 31yrs old. Omg my breasts are so tender and i have implants too. They feel so hard. Does anyone have this problem?

I use CVS prenatal gummies. They just started to carry them by me, and I was so happy. With my previous pregnancies I couldn't take the vitamins because they would start to dissolve in my mouth and it would make me so sick I couldn't get them down.

Does anyone know the difference between over the counter Prenatal Vitamins (DHA) or prescriptions Prenatal? I can get the pills over the counter or the one's my dr's nurse recommended at $60 for a months supply.

Ironically I went in for my yearly the week before I found out I was pregnant. I told them I have trouble swallowing big pills and was worried for prenatal vitamins. They gave me samples of small ones. The one I took was literally the same size my birth control pills were. Try talking to your doctor about different kinds you could try.

They first gave me Major brand prenatal vitamins and ended up switching me to Vitafol due to constipation~ im starting to believe that they are causing it! Of course my doc is telling me it's normal. Prenatals are for the baby but they are also more for you the baby will take all nutrients and vitamins it needs from you the vitamins are more to keep you strong and replenished too, but yes women have done it for years without them so it's not the worst thing to not take them

What vitamins r u guys taking had my first visit today and I have all these samples

I take Vitafol Ultra its a small prenatal gel pill with the essential vitamins like folic acid and DHA. It doesnt make me feel sick at all and its paid by most insurances.

I know alot of women including myself who take the Womens One A Day Prenatal Vitamins that r otc. Its 2 pills but not half as expensive. One pill is all ur folic acid n other nutrients and the other contains the DHA u need.

Anyone chose to not take the prenatal vitamins? My prescription ones killed my stomach and now no bought the gummies and they seem to be messing with me also. I know they contain vital nutrients but if I do not take prenatals during this pregnancy will my baby be ok? Im 17weeks tomorrow.

I'm taking the meijer brand prenatal vitamins as well as Especta (its a DHA supplement). I take mine in the morning. I don't have any problems taking them either.

I was just wondering what prenatal vitamin is the best? I've herd things like you have to make sure it dissolves in 30 minites, their has to be extra calcium, and you shouldn't taken Rainbow Light prenatals in the 1st trimester. What do any of you take or have a preference on?

My best friends sister has 5 healthy kids and she never once took her prenatal vitamins so you just have to make sure you eat enough of the right foods to give your baby what it needs and make sure its getting all the essentials
