Prenatal vitamins not pregnant side effects

Common Questions and Answers about Prenatal vitamins not pregnant side effects

vitamin

Avatar f tn The Vitamin E and Omega 369 should be fine also, but I would check that you are not overdoing it if you take the prenatal vitamins. (As many prenatal vitamins have some of these already in them.) I do not know anything about Angus Cactus. You should ask a pharmacist about that one. If you have been trying for 7 years, you should have consulted with a fertility specialist (not just a gynaecologist) after 6 months of TTC with no results though!
2119134 tn?1350050210 Maybe the prenatal vitamins are too strong. Sometimes women experience side effects with the prenatals because they're not pregnant. You could be an example of that. I would tone it down and see if that doesn't help. If anything you can just take folic or a multivitamin. I'm using clomid and just a normal multivitamin. Good luck.
Avatar f tn I have been looking at possibly trying to take premama, which is supposed to not have side effects. I am not sure if it will give me all of the vitamins I need though. Is this vitamin fine or do you have any suggestions?
768015 tn?1333652075 (note the MORE than) Ginko Biloba-Because of the chance in having side effects when taking the Ginkgo biloba supplement, pregnant women have been advised not to take it. Experts are not sure what the effects of Ginkgo biloba are, and the herb as been the center of many controversial studies. There has yet to be a safe dosage established. There is no evidence that any of this will harm your baby. They are required by law to put warning labels on their product.

689528 tn?1364135841 Hello all!! I am not pregnant yet but my doctor told me I should start on prenatal vitamins. I haven't started yet but am about to. I already take the omega 3-6-9's and flaxseed gel pills. I know that you can take prenatal vitamins such as Materna and take the omega's....but is it still safe for me to take my flaxseed? Has anyone heard whether to cut down on green tea if you're TTC?? I drink it everyday.
Avatar n tn This one i had no side effects from. Its also made from whole foods instead of synthedic ingredients. I would definitely suggest these pills because you want the best for your baby while its growing and these are the best.
455110 tn?1205964069 Me and my roommate were wondering if it is safe to take PreNatal Vitamins when not pregnant...I mean obviously we know if pregnant women take them then they probably dont harm your body but will they make us gain weight or anything? The reason we want to take them is because we heard they make your hair grow faster and shinier..Is this even true?!! I would love any answers or suggestions?!! Thank You!!

Avatar f tn One of my prenatal vitamins have DHA but no iron, and the other has iron but no DHA...The one with iron has a little higher percentage of vitamin C as well...which one should I take? If I take the one with no DHA is it ok to takr Advocare Omega Plex supplement on the side? Or should I take the vitamin with DHA and take iron on the side? These have me confused!
Avatar f tn I just bought the One A Day Prenatal & Prenatal w/DHA. Not sure about them yet because I haven't taken any yet. The main con I read was you get fish burps.
Avatar f tn I take gummy prenatal vitamins as well. Mine are VitaCrave. They don't have iron, so they are easier on your stomach, but you have to make sure you are getting iron from other sources. They also don't have calcium, which you need more of when pregnant, so I make it a point to get more calcium throughout the day. You should ask your doctor if she minds if you switch.
Avatar f tn Ok. How about the one that they gave me for my scoliosis?
1386249 tn?1303092096 My OB stressed to me last week how important it is to keep taking them, but prenatal vitamins side effects are the least of her concerns. She did say 1 in 200 women over 35 will have a baby with a disability because of the age. Even a regular multi-vitamin gives me side effects. Any suggestions?
Avatar f tn Can taking to many of the gummy prenatal vitamins cause still birth at 26 weeks?
7630308 tn?1399823873 t keep food or any liquids down I have tried just the individual different ones gummy for adults and kids the chewables for kids and adults same thing happens whether I am pregnant or not my doctor is aware and told me to eat things that contian the vitamins naturally to make up for it which I do but I am rh negative so I eat extra of some of those things to be on the safe side but not all women can do it how I have to either it helps some but not quite enough in my case but my doctor does monit
Avatar f tn When I was pregnant and taking the prenatal vitamins the same thing would happen to me. I tried a few different ones just to see if others wouldn't have that side effect. I ended up taking the vitamins before going to bed each night. That helped tremendously. I was no longer getting sick. Maybe you can try this also.
Avatar n tn so my doctor did give me some prenatal vitamins that I refuse to take everyday. They're way too big so I'll buy my own.
