Avatar f tn t been able to keep my prenatal vitamins down. My doctor suggested Flintstones gummy vitamins . Seems good so far.
Avatar n tn If you dont mind spending a little bit more for a better prenatal. I use baby&me prenatal. Its about $30 for a month off amazon. And the pills are large. However, i absolutly love this brand! I tried a half a dozen linds before this including samples the doctor gave and they all made me sick. This one i had no side effects from. Its also made from whole foods instead of synthedic ingredients.
Avatar f tn im 16 , and expecting my 1st child , i started taking my prenatal vitamins and i began to get sick and my vision began to blur ? why is that ?
Avatar f tn Prenatal vitamins are both healthy for you and the baby. Continue to take them even after the baby is born.
Avatar f tn The Vitamin E and Omega 369 should be fine also, but I would check that you are not overdoing it if you take the prenatal vitamins. (As many prenatal vitamins have some of these already in them.) I do not know anything about Angus Cactus. You should ask a pharmacist about that one. If you have been trying for 7 years, you should have consulted with a fertility specialist (not just a gynaecologist) after 6 months of TTC with no results though!
Avatar f tn folic acid is importand for brain development, calcium for strong bones, iorn for their blood supply, it all around helps and all of this ia found in a prenatal pill... if you feel sick try eating the prenatal gummies, i heard those are good.
2119134 tn?1350050210 Maybe the prenatal vitamins are too strong. Sometimes women experience side effects with the prenatals because they're not pregnant. You could be an example of that. I would tone it down and see if that doesn't help. If anything you can just take folic or a multivitamin. I'm using clomid and just a normal multivitamin. Good luck.
768015 tn?1333652075 I think it has to do with what vitamins are in the Centrum, they probably don't have the rec. amount of folic acid or iron in them. I didn't take any prenatal vitamins until I was further along b/c they made me sick. I do not recommend that. I would look up online what the rec. amount of which vitamins is online, and compare them to your vitamins. Keep in mind also, that a lot of women don't find out they're pregnant until further along too. You should be fine.
Avatar f tn Can taking to many of the gummy prenatal vitamins cause still birth at 26 weeks?
Avatar f tn They perform their own functions without affecting the person taking the vitamins (well maybe nausea ) but if some one takes excessive prenatal vitamins, there may arise various side effects of these vitamins.
689528 tn?1364135841 Hello all!! I am not pregnant yet but my doctor told me I should start on prenatal vitamins. I haven't started yet but am about to. I already take the omega 3-6-9's and flaxseed gel pills. I know that you can take prenatal vitamins such as Materna and take the omega's....but is it still safe for me to take my flaxseed? Has anyone heard whether to cut down on green tea if you're TTC?? I drink it everyday.

Avatar f tn with my first pregnancy I took the prenatal vitamins by One A Day and threw them up everytime. These have no side effects and I feel great. They also sell one without the added iron. :) Good luck.

Avatar f tn I absolutely can't take my pills anymore. I bought prenatal gummy vitamins. Are they safe to take until I go back to the doctor, or just go the next 7 days without any vitamins...
871965 tn?1241833146 You can call an OB office to consult a prenatal nurse to see what prenatal vitamins they recommend, or ask your local pharmacist. Also, eating lots of vitamin rich vegs (spinach, all dark green vegs) and fruits (oranges, kiwi, all dark berries, bananas) will help naturally provide you with most of your nutritional intake for these vitamins. Happy Conceiving!
Avatar f tn I didn't take vitamins. Prenatal vitamins made me sick. Take a prenatal vitamin if u want, and the Dr. Should have done blood tests to see how good Ur iron and everything is. I wouldn't take anything that the Dr. Doesn't tell me.
