I never seemed to do well on it years ago and I did better with premarin though I had lots of headaches. I had my hysterectomy uterus and ovaries removed in 2012. I took just premarin until 2015 and then stopped. I quit the estradoil and earlier this week I went back to my old Gyn and told him about the symptoms I am having. Insomnia is the worst, anxiety, depression. He put me back on premarin .625. I have been taking this for three days now.

Help... I had a hysterectomy when I was 38 and was put on premarin... I am now 48 and the Dr. took me off and put me on estrdiol... Its been a month and i feel like crap... I don't know if I should just try nothing for now.. I had a full hysterectomy.. I was good while I was on premarin.. Somebody please help...

In Canada, after many years of taking Premarin, my doctor replaced this prescription with something labeled CES on the label. He told me that CES was a synthetic form of estrogen. Now that I've moved to Mexico, my doctor here doesn't know what I'm talking about and has put me back on Premarin, which is very expensive here. Can anyone tell me what the full name of CES is and/or where I can find more information about it? Thanks so much!

Can I use Premarin cream along with a yeast medication(Diflucan)? Does the moisture in the Premarin cream keep a yeast infection from healing?

I had a complete hysto. in 84 and was on vivelle patch for most of those years. Just estrogen and no progesterone. I was fine until a few years ago and it just got worse. I became so estrogen dominant and became a total mess. I went to a very good hormone imbalance seminar a few days ago and it was great. I think if you went off, you'll regret it in time. There are so many symptoms with low or no hormone production.

Just wanted to add that since you haven't been diagnosed with breast cancer, it's way too early to think about blaming Premarin. There's still a lot of "ifs": if it's cancer and if it's ER/PR positive. You don't even know if the spot compressions and ultrasound will show anything concerning or it could be the tissue folded over on itself as japdip indicates.

Has anyone used Premarin to help jump start their period? And if so, how long did it take? I am on it for 25 days (Premarin) and then starting the aygestin after the 16th day.

I was diagnosed for missed abortion last May 17,2008 (as seen in the Ultrasound,the baby has no heart beat) i was administered a premarin 0.62 mg every 6 hours, the doctor said to soften the cervix as well as cytotec 200 mg every 8 hours. As an alternative to vagifem, you can get prescribed estring. The other alternatives are creams--Premarin and Estrace vaginal creams but use them under prescription. my pain Dr had put me on a strict diet 3 years ago which is nothing from a cow, so no dairy at all, no beef in any form, no rice, no wheat of any kind no night shade vegetables.....but never looked at the ingredients of premarin. I suffer from Hashimotos autoimmune disease for many years and was diagnosed last year with Lupus after suffering many years with leukopenia which was caused by the Lupus or the Premarin. I took myself off of Premarin in July 2016 and I feel so much better. My hair is now growing back after losing about 3/4 of it during a Lupus flare-up that lasted over 7 months. My muscle aches are gone and my blood counts are now registering normal.

I have been reading about Premarin and it can likely cause the problem. I would like to get off Premarin and take a natural hormone replacement, or should I stay on the Premarin. What do you think about that and just how do I do that? I know I shouldn't just quit taking it suddenly.
