i had full hysterectomy in october 2009 for ovarian cyst. then my doctor gave me premarin 0.06 1 tablet per day.this medicine is very good.i feel very well to take this.but there is a problem .in 2009 i was 45 kg and now i am 65 kg.please help me and give me a suggestion what will i do and how will i reduce my overweight.
I never seemed to do well on it years ago and I did better with premarin though I had lots of headaches. I had my hysterectomy uterus and ovaries removed in 2012. I took just premarin until 2015 and then stopped. I quit the estradoil and earlier this week I went back to my old Gyn and told him about the symptoms I am having. Hello: hoping somebody can help me. I have been on Premarin.625mg for 7 months and did very well. Before that, I had tried everything else with very little improvement. Before Premarin I was having hot flashes, anxiety, and terrible insomnia. After the first few days of taking Premarin, I began to notice great improvement. My hot flashes went away and insomnia disappeared. I had a few bumps along the way but then everything balanced out. Now, the old symptoms have returned with a vengeance.
Did the blood test route, etc., took whopping doses of Viatmin D and got put on Premarin, the lowest dose. I did not do well on that. I became actually worse, emotionally and it didn't help the sweats, irritability or anything. My doctor told me to try Estroven, and it's better, but I still feel like crap. I don't sleep well at all, I am irritable and snappish and that is NOT my personality. A friend told me she was in a similar state and took bio-identicals.
I have been prescribed Somac dosage of 40mg daily. I read that it is more efficacious to take 20mg twice a day. Anyone have an opinion on that? Also, is there any problem with splitting a 40mg tab in half and taking the half morning and night? Many thanks.
I'm about to raise my synthroid myself because I can tell that my thyroid is low. I can't wait to see my doctor. Splitting a 100 mcg tablet sevens times is impossible. Would it be safe to take an extra tablet one day per week. I've read a case where someones doctor actually presscribed a higher dose one day a week. But then again some doctors are crazy. How common would it be to do this? Is it effective? Or will my thyroid bounce out of control?
My doctor, who is a OB/GYN, preformed the surgery and after placed me on Premarin. I was worried after finding out all the health issues around premerin, especially the blood clots, since my mom died of that several years after her hysterectomy. I use to take Levothyroxin 125MCG tab mylan One and One/Half Tablet six days per week and One/Half Tablet one day per week. This was bought at Walmart.
I started to obtain my Medication from the "VA". They sent me Levothyroxine NA ( Synthroid) 0.025MG Tab. Take One/Half once Daily.
What is the differance between 125MCG and 0.025MG ? Will the dosage be correct ?

My doctor said eventually I will take 300 mg of it, but on the first day, instead of taking 1 tablet, I took 2. The first two nights were ******* hell. Had it not been for my roommate's bipolar medication, I would've died or something. I'm thinking 300 mg is too much for body to handle. So I plan on going back down to what my doc said. But I'm wondering, should I skip a day first, then start taking the 150?

I suffer from Hashimotos autoimmune disease for many years and was diagnosed last year with Lupus after suffering many years with leukopenia which was caused by the Lupus or the Premarin. I took myself off of Premarin in July 2016 and I feel so much better. My hair is now growing back after losing about 3/4 of it during a Lupus flare-up that lasted over 7 months. My muscle aches are gone and my blood counts are now registering normal.
I have started the normal dosage of azithromycin for it's common use (I am sick), but found out that someone I slept with may have had chlamydia in the past.
Would the dosage of 500 mg per day for 3 days (total of 1500 mg) be effective for treating chlamydia if I have it?
I have already talked the first 500 mg tablet today. Should I take 2 x 500 mg tomorrow? Or continue my current dosage?
