I was diagnosed for missed abortion last May 17,2008 (as seen in the Ultrasound,the baby has no heart beat) i was administered a premarin 0.62 mg every 6 hours, the doctor said to soften the cervix as well as cytotec 200 mg every 8 hours. Hey Mel... I'm confused...are they giving you a pill (or spray) to put you in menopause?? I've never heard of that before but it makes sense. My cancer feeds off estrogen so I had to stop the premarin I was taking after my hysterectomy. I wish you luck...I went through surgical menopause and it actually wasn't too bad. I get the occasional hot flash and my memory is awful, but that could be from chemo - who knows. I will caution you to make sure you have your bone density checked.
