778044 tn?1299542934 Has anyone used Premarin to help jump start their period? And if so, how long did it take? I am on it for 25 days (Premarin) and then starting the aygestin after the 16th day.
Avatar n tn Can I use Premarin cream along with a yeast medication(Diflucan)? Does the moisture in the Premarin cream keep a yeast infection from healing?
Avatar n tn If the premarin cream causes a yeast infection should I stop useing it(the premarin cream) or keep useing it. I read somewhere that you should continue useing it to get rid of the yeast infection. I am a bit confused.

Avatar n tn gov/ddiseases/pubs/intestinaladhesions/ Pelvic and vaginal pain can be due to UTIs, vulvovaginitis, labial adhesions and foreign body in vagina like a toilet paper etc, STD, PID or pelvic inflammatory disease, uterine or extra uterine endometriosis, kidney stones and vaginal prolapse. I think you should discuss these possibilities with your doctor, preferably a gynecologist. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining.
Avatar f tn said that in the area that burns my skin is down to the blood capillaries with almost no protection, hence the burning. I was already using premarin cream nightly, but he switched me to VagFem tabs & Estrace cream to apply directly on the "bad area." I reacted to something in the estrace & the inflammation & burning got worse.
Avatar f tn that sort of makes sense thanks grace. i tested myself for a yeast infection and it didnt come up positive the doctor didn't test me for anything else, i'm thinking of going back (possibly to a different doctor so i could get a 2nd opinion) the premarin cream was for the irritation but it didn't help much i am getting a copy of my test results and will pick them up monday and then post them on here thanks again!

Avatar f tn 56 year old, healthy woman taking .5g of Premarin Cream one time per week to address vaginal dryness. Looking for an alternative with less expense, as I do not have health insurance. Any help appreciated. Thank you!
405614 tn?1329144114 So, it could be not the Premarin, since I take that every month, and the premarin cream I've added isn't a large amount. Are you saying that it could be related to my period itself, and the placebo pills, even adding the Premarin? Hmm, but that's monthly, too. Or, it may be the sinus issue acting up again, or just something that can't be named.
Avatar f tn The Pedi perscribed her a cream called premarin for me to apply to the affected area 2x a day until I saw that it was getting better then to continue it until it had corrected itself. Well, I stopped putting the cream on my daughter about month into using it because I had noticed that she was starting to get a lot of peach fuzz in the area. I stopped using the cream but the hair is still there and now sone are turning brown!
Avatar n tn I dont have my ovary's. I have been on Estrogen Premarin for 2 months now. Just trying to get the right balance I need since I've been up with bad night sweats and hot flashes. This pain was just one I never felt before. I never had any pain after having my kids. The only time is when I had endo and adneomyois this past year.
Avatar n tn About 4 months ago I was diagnosed with a yeast infection, followed by a diagnosis of Herpes I. After several treatments of Diflucan and Nitrix cream the discharge stopped but I still have pinching and itching externally on the labial area and the rectal area. There is no visible rash, just this relentless pinching and itching. My OB gave me a pap and said she screened for all the high risk HPVs. Could she still be missing something?
Avatar f tn I was instructed to stop taking my Premarin (lowest dose), for 6 months at a time for fear of Heart related issues. I have done it before, but experience dryness. I had my hysterectomy in 03 (I'm 46), and haven't had intercourse now for almost two years (for several reasons). For whom this concerns; I've been suggested to try premarin creams, but how often do I use it and do they work?
Avatar f tn See if your nurse practitioner will prescribe Premarin for you. It can improve your vaginal tone a whole lot. You're really too young for vaginal atrophy. If you really can't stand the idea of seeing a NP about this, try Wild Yam Cream. Basically, you need something hormonal in your vagina. You don't need to go onto estrogen pills, but some estrogenic cream will help a lot. Then, try a glass of wine.
Avatar f tn Pelvic and/or vaginal pain can be due to UTIs, vulvovaginitis, labial adhesions and foreign body in vagina like a toilet paper etc, STD, PID or pelvic inflammatory disease, uterine or extra uterine endometriosis, kidney stones and vaginal prolapse.
