Avatar f tn Hello everyone! I recently found out that I am 4 weeks pregnant. I want to know if it's okay to jog while you're pregnant.
Avatar f tn From what I've heard you can add long as you were used to jogging before you were pregnant and you don't push yourself beyond what you were used to. I'd check with your doctor too just to be safe.
7827642 tn?1396958758 Im 15 weeks & 4 days. I ended up having to chase my dog for about 5-10 seconds because she got out of the fence. I was barely/lightly jogging not running. I hope I didn't hurt my baby. Im not in any pain im just worried now. What do you mamas think?
7677085 tn?1395374075 Just got clearance from my midwife to start jogging and I'm so excited! I took it way too easy with my last pregnancy and ended up gaining fifty or sixty pounds! This time I'm determined to keep my weight gain low since I'm overweight to begin with. I haven't jogged regularly for about five years and would appreciate recommendations about stretching, belly support, etc. My midwife just told me to start slow and ease into it (jog one minute, walk three minutes sort of thing).
Avatar f tn If you were able to do it before you got pregnant then you can do it now. If you weren't jogging before then no I would not suggest taking it up now. Hiking is ok, swimming, walking, all exercises that are ok if you weren't really working out prior to being pregnant. But like I said, if you were running before you got pregnant, or lifting weights or playing basketball, you can continue that till it becomes to much for your body.
Avatar f tn I've been jogging for a while and I don't feel like I am getting anywhere. I try to go at least once a day and do at least a mile. I have a mile time of about 11-12 minutes and I need help improving it. Any tips and suggestions are greatly needed.

4193337 tn?1355698372 im 36 weeks pregnant and still go jogging. Does anyone else? Not sure if I should even still be jogging...
Avatar f tn m absolutely craving right now! I know it will be really tough to do, so I started jogging a few days ago to help lose some calories. After the 4th loop up a hill, I started feeling dizzy and stopped, and I walked the rest of the way. I have an appointment next week with my Dr. but I'd like to keep jogging every other day until then. My family thinks I should be power walking instead, but I just love jogging.
Avatar f tn They say if you do it before being pregnant then it is OK to do moderately while pregnant as long as you watch your heartrate and don't get dehydrated. It really helped me get through the pregnancy with more energy and helped limit the weight gain. Check with your own doc though just to be sure.
1320252 tn?1290190343 I used to go running and I am wondering if there are others who also run on clomid and got pregnant. Kindly let me know.
Avatar f tn Okay so I'm 12 weeks pregnant and I admit I'm way out of shape and over weight so I would like to know what would be some great workout choices to do while pregnant?
Avatar f tn They say that it's safest to jog only if you've been jogging throughout your entire pregnancy. I've been told that if you haven't already been regularly jogging you shouldn't start mid pregnancy. Walking is best (even power walking) but if you really want to and feel like you can I would bring it up to the doctor before doing it.
Avatar m tn I have wore a 3 layer cloth like, underwear, boxer and a jogging pants and my girl has a jogging pants and a underwear. Is it possible for her to be pregnant?

Avatar f tn Hey everyone! I know I definitely want a jogging stroller, but am wondering if I could use it also as a regular stroller instead of buying both??
432737 tn?1358549432 Anyone have a jogging stroller? I have a Peg Perego regular stroller and love it, but I'm on a big exercise kick and as soon as it warms up I'm going to start jogging. I love the Bob stroller and started saving. Thought I'd ask around and see if anyone has a jogger and if so, what kind and do you like it?
Avatar f tn Walking or jogging if you can stand it. Nipple stimulation but be cautious with that, it can cause hard contractions that can cause distress to the baby (they recommend 1-3 hrs) so I would say a few min here and there won't hurt. Sex sex and more sex really. Also if you have a yoga ball sitting and bouncing on it can help. Acupressure points (4 finger widths above the ankle bone and the webbing in between your thumb and pointer finger). Hope this helps and good luck.
Avatar f tn I am 32 weeks pregnant as of tomorrow with my first(I've been pregnant once, but lost the baby early). Would it be bad for my baby and my body if I did jogging and running?
4845170 tn?1369102292 Hey ladies! I am huge into fitness and have been all cleared for light jogging and such through my pregancy. But I used to do p90x and obviously that's out of the question now! What kind of things are you ladies doing to stay in shape? My back is starting to get a little achey so I am cutting back on the jogging for now. Any 2nd trimester fit mamas?
Avatar f tn I would say with the jogging but maybe lessen the amount of time.
Avatar f tn I was jogging and then my Dr said don't because of shaking baby syndrome and was laughing ..
Avatar n tn I used to jog 3 miles per day about 4 times a week before I got pregnant. My doctor said jogging is fine, but not to get your body temputure up too much and to stay hydrated. I follow her rule of being able to hold a coversation while you are doing your cardio if you cannot you are over doing it. Of course I don't jog anymore, but just walk and I do about 30 minutes every day versus my normal 3 miles four times per week. I am so exausted I cannot imagine doing more.
