7677085 tn?1395377675 Just got clearance from my midwife to start jogging and I'm so excited! I took it way too easy with my last pregnancy and ended up gaining fifty or sixty pounds! This time I'm determined to keep my weight gain low since I'm overweight to begin with. I haven't jogged regularly for about five years and would appreciate recommendations about stretching, belly support, etc. My midwife just told me to start slow and ease into it (jog one minute, walk three minutes sort of thing). Thanks ladies!
Avatar f tn They say if you do it before being pregnant then it is OK to do moderately while pregnant as long as you watch your heartrate and don't get dehydrated. It really helped me get through the pregnancy with more energy and helped limit the weight gain. Check with your own doc though just to be sure.

Avatar n tn and usually 110lbs ( I am pregnant right at the moment) and I experience the same pain occasionally. I had been to see my dr and had an ekg as well. I was diagnosed w/ muscle strain. My dr says probably from pumping my arms and i am not an extrem arm pumper. It never has lasted form more than a week at a time so I never really worried about it. I took warm baths and relaxed after long runs and found my self really relaxing.

After the 4th loop up a hill, I started feeling dizzy and stopped, and I walked the rest of the way. I have an appointment next week with my Dr. but I'd like to keep jogging every other day until then. My family thinks I should be power walking instead, but I just love jogging.

My vaginal temps did go up 1.5 degrees, but orally, my temperature went down. It has happened after mowing the lawn too. It seems to go down the moment I get out of bed as well. Why does this happen?

Avatar f tn Hi yes it is normal i had the same problem but i was sweating everywhere. mainly under arms. I asked doc what i could do bout it n he just said wear loose clothing or cotton fabric so i started wearing cotton jogging bottoms n t shirts it really helped.

Avatar f tn Walking is really treat, squats, jogging(talk to your doctor first), swimming, exercise ball, small weights, hiking. Just make sure to stay well hydrated and If you ever feel tired or out of breath take a break never push yourself.

1612315 tn?1298907771 If you are having lot of fat deposit then start regular cardio activities such as running, jogging and swimming regularly for 1 hour. You should prepare a proper diet chart after discussing with a dietician and follow it strictly. You should also remember that the fat which you have put the last is the first you will lose with cardio, so best of luck! Take care!

Avatar f tn I quit smoking when I founf out I was pregnant because I couldnt even smoke I was always sick but now im 16 weeks and started again not like I used to...I.smoke 1 or 2 cigs everyday but still I feel guilty and cant seem to stop now! Help!
Avatar n tn It is not likely that you are feeling any movement from a baby this early, however. I was pregnant and at 8 weeks passed a TON of blood - I was still pregnant. The latest statistics suggest that 1 out of every 3 pregnancies start out as twins and one is miscarried. Best of luck and please keep us posted.

I try to ignore all the symptoms even tho they so severe and I continue with my daily routine, jogging excercisig. And when I do that too much my lower tummy hurts. I'm just scared that if I am pregnant, so I don't miscarriage it! all home pregnancy tests negative, blood & urine test at hospital negative, but I get so nauseous after I eat.. I run to the bathroom. I mean all symptoms r those of a pregnant woman.
Avatar n tn Instead of walking go running, I know that sounds like a lot of weight to be tossed around but jogging actually induces labor because the baby is so heavy, walking works if you're like power walking but u would have to do it for a long time, jogging works a lot better, my sister did it with both of her children, but she also used castor oil with one of her pregnancies.

Avatar n tn I'll be 46 at the end of this month & just moved to a new state so I don't have the luxury of knowing any doctors. In the last 1-2 months I suddenly gained 40 + lbs & look pregnant. That seems to be where the weight all is. A urinalysis proved negative for pregnancy on Monday & with my 3 grown kids I did not gain this much weight &/or so fast. I just look pregnant & feel "full - heavy - tired & short of breath" most of the time.
435139 tn?1255463991 I bought a Denise Austin dvd for pregnant aerobics but I just don't feel like I am getting enough out of it, my legs seem like they are getting really out of shape/untoned...I was doing pilates pre-pregnancy but gave it all up during my first trimester because of all the ab/core moves. I do have a video that is just legs/hips/buns...It does involve some laying on the floor on your back...What do you ladies think? My doctor told me I could exercise. Thanks!
