I'm 26 weeks pregnant and I got a cat will I be ok? I have been around cats my whole life and with my first pregnancy.

my auntys doberman female always went up to women who were pregnant guarded them and would nussle there tummys lol it started doing it to my mum before she knew she was pregnant with me my aunty said ur pregnant...

Dee Dee I would plan on a visit to the local vet in your area... The meds should of already taken care of the mites... As long as it was given correctly? As far as the Thyroid I would not guess do the recommended blood work to determine treatment..

Is it safe for their to be two cats, one that is pregnant, and three kittens to be around a newborn?And they are not house trained..They also go outside every chance they get and come back in with fleas.....

Yeah, I have two cats and I have heard about how they cuddle the baby for the milk which can lead to accidental smothering. As long as you watch them and don't leave them alone with the child, then the baby will be fine. We are being sure to keep the cats away from our daughter once she is born, only when we sleep at night. Just being extra cautious!

I have two cats, they were both inside. Pregnant women aren't suppose to change litter boxes and sometimes cats can be dangerous once the baby is born because they can tend to be really cuddly and cause suffocation or take the babies breath away. I gradually got my cats use to outside and they usually stay in our garage now, atleast until the baby's born and older.

My sister had two cats when she had her twins that were inside cats and it was fine. I heard that out door cats sometimes have toxoplasmosis because they tend to eat dead birds and mice. If your cat is an out door cat then you can take it to the vet to make sure it doesn't have toxoplasmosis. . If it does then get someone to look after her till she is done the meds.

I dont think so but in my situation i was never allergic to cats and now that im pregnant its horrible my whole body starts to break outs so i had to get rid of them

I have a mixed breed dog and is too noisy and till I know cats and their stool is very harmful for the baby in me. Is it same for the dog? Should i stay away from my dog?

If you're used to being around cats it's supposed to he ok. But you are supposed to avoid litter trays and poop scooping etc.

So, I'm 22 weeks pregnant. My fiance and parents are very argumentive about my two cats I've had for years. I know cleaning litter box is a no, I have them doing it for me.
