Avatar f tn Ive got a growth scan at 36 weeks on januarythe 6th and im so nervous. Has anyone else been told their having a big baby but were suprised by weight?
Avatar f tn I'm 16 weeks and still under my pre-pregnancy weight (only by 2lbs). My midwife assures me I will pack on some pounds soon. I'm sure you will round off those numbers later on.
796506 tn?1370191905 Sorry ladies the other thread was getting really long. So by my chart (if I even ovulated on my own) I would be 3-4 dpo; Please share your fears, BFP/BFN, symptoms or anything else. We are all here to help each other in this long 2 week wait... SSBD!
Avatar m tn Your situation is very similar to mine - I had a 3.6 log drop at week 12 but still 645 IU/mL. I was UND by week 18 (< 5 IU/mL Heptimax). My Doc thought I was probably UND between week 14 and 16. But if I had used Abbott RealTime - who knows? - I might seem UND even later. By the way, Abbott should report < 12 IU/mL as UND according to their own specs: http://international.abbottmolecular.com/RealTimeHCV_1988.
Avatar f tn I miscarried twice before my current pregnancy. The first time we announced right away and a week later had to take it all back. The second tume we didnt tell anyone and to be honost it was easier to mourn my loss without having everyone in the world try to help you. This time I am not quite six weeks and my husband couldnt tae it. He spilled the beans even though I wasnt and am still not emotionally ready to put it out there. However I chose to cherish his excitement rather than get upset.
367974 tn?1286554758 I was wondering whether being over weight, Hight 162 and weight 97kg would be very high risk if I try for a baby? 2 years ago i did for the first time and had a miscarriage! Could it be any how related to being over weight? Please tell me what you know...
796506 tn?1370191905 This is for all of those ladies who are currently on their legendary 2 week wait! Anyone who has questions, comments, or symptoms, please feel free to post them here! Remember: We are all in this together! Baby dust to all!
Avatar f tn i started the dreaded two week wait this week. i have done 4 rounds of clomid (plus hcg injections)-i responded really well-ovulated 1egg, 2eggs, 3eggs, 2eggs had a chemical pregnancy the second round but have not fallen pregnant since. the last round of clomid (the 4th) my levels did not get up as high as they would have liked and they told me to move on to another drug-puragon. had to stim on purgaon for 20 days til i got 1 mature egg.
Avatar f tn Im no expert as this is my first baby. But my pregnancy book (which I cling to- lol!) says by the end of my 24th week, my baby girl should weigh 2lbs.
Avatar f tn You can see that 200 is right in the middle of average for a 4 week pregnancy. I am wondering....are you 4 weeks from last menstrul period, or 4 weeks since conception? When a Dr. tells you you are 4 weeks pregnant he is going from the first day of your last menstraul period. If you are counting 4 weeks since conception, you would actually be 6 weeks. Them telling you 200 is too low for 4 weeks just does not make any sense at all.
Avatar f tn i'm on 6 wks 4 days and I've gained like 7 lbs I was 157 went I went by the doc to confirm being prego and I weight myself last week and I was 164 ..
8101930 tn?1420005056 This app has always told me I have gained an excessive amount... I don't like using the weight chart on it.. Im 37 weeks and have gained 30lbs which I'm really happy with.
10389360 tn?1410827568 I would go by your hip to waist ratio pre pregnancy, then by how much weight you've gained since.
7721203 tn?1468446829 congratulations!
6918915 tn?1395936471 I don't think it is allot Ady all I have lost 9 lbs and I am 16 weeks they aren't worried maybe they just want to make sure you eat healthy and keep it in check I know alot of doctors that belive thIs factor in fact we have one in the hospital i work at they just want healthy I know alot of ppl that easy unhealthy and have complications not everyone us the same but I would take it to keep myself in check not negative necessarily I won't buy maternity pants cause o want to make sure I don't gain
Avatar f tn com/ip/reproductive_years/pregnancy/p_twins_normal_high.html with a chart on suggested weight gain for twins.- It says if you are 5'2" or smaller then the weight gain should be on the lower curve not higher curve.... which indicates i should have gained 24 lbs.....so since both girls are right on track, it appears that they have gained just fine and I have lost 5 kgs of ME. I love hearing from and comparing with those pregnant now and those who already had their twins.
Avatar n tn and once I have completed the antibiotics is there a chance of losing the weight? or at least stopping the weight gain. Aside from the vanity point of losing the weight I am sure it makes the arthritis and numbness worse to be carrying around 40 - 50 extra pounds. I simply don't know how to fix this problem, as crazy as that sounds.
Avatar f tn Before, I did find it hard to loose weight, it just wouldn't come off and now my weight is stable. But I have found that even on a week when I do eat some junk I still stay the same weight. I have fluctuations around my monthly cycle but I think this is normal.
776572 tn?1360294339 this chart doesn't seem to take into account the fact that smaller women often do end up gaining an average of 40 pounds. I gained 38 with my first child and assume that I will be around the 40 pound mark this time around too. Gah! When you are already feeling gross about your swollen ankles and giant waistline, I do NOT appreciate this 'judgement' or 'reflection' on the status of my pregnancy weight gain as 'too much' or 'negative'......
965641 tn?1274537920 25lbs ( He is now 4 months and I have 10 to lose) Normal weight gain during pregnancy (if your pre- pregnancy weight was normal) is between 25- 35 lbs. For underweight people they say to gain more, with obese people they say gain less). Don't stress though, with both pregnancies I gained the majority of my weight by 20 weeks then gained hardly anything the last half.
Avatar n tn It's the March of Dimes chart on how much weight gain is desirable during pregnancy. I don't see where the doctor got the snide remark, myself. I'm at 30 weeks and have gained 21 lbs. and that hasn't bothered my doctor at all.
Avatar f tn I gained exactly 30, but had Brody at 34+6 weeks, so I might have gained a little more than that. I am now down to my pre pregnancy weight by 3 months. Don't worry about weight gain so much if you're eating healthy. Comparing yourself to others you will always be a little more or a little less. Everyone is different. Your weight gain sounds within range. You're almost there!!
296076 tn?1371338074 that they want to see to at least a 25 - 35lbs weight gain by the end of the pregnancy and how people gain that weight varies from person to person. Some gain a little weight gradually, and some hardly gain at all in the first trimester....but then in the middle the weight comes pouring on. Im also told that the majority of the weight by the third trimester is mostly fluids and actual weight of the baby. My main concern is keeping the baby healthy....
Avatar n tn You need do a chart for you height and weight and find your own target heart rate by your pulse for your age. Depending on the excersise you do (dishes and vacuming can burn calories) you need to burn more calories than you consume to loose weight. There are alot of websites that will chart it for you. example: if you consume 800 calories a day you need to excercise to burn 1000 calories. This pattern will drop weight. Does that make sense.
Avatar f tn They can be off by 2 lbs when guessing baby's weight even without being on medication during pregnancy. unfortunately it's not an exact science.
Avatar n tn I had a tubal ligation almost 5 yrs ago after a c-section. Last week, two early detection pregnancy tests came back positive...within the first 30 seconds of the test. I was having really sore breasts...and then I started feeling engorged, so I knew something was up, despite the odds. Saturday around 3am I had alot of cramping and then started bleeding heavily. I saw the doctor Monday. He says I most likely had an ectopic due having the tubal ligation, and that I had an early miscarriage...
Avatar f tn for youre pregnancy to be consodered "normal/healthy" youre supposed to gain weight. People who are over weight pre pregnancy are supposed to gain 15-25 pounds, people at normal weight are supposed to gain 25-35 and under weight 28-40 pounds. Yes, in the first trimester it could be a little harder to gain some, because of morning sickness. But your not supposed to be losing weight purposly. Its not aboit your cute body anymore, its about the health of youre child.
