I didn't get a runny rose until later in my pregnancy. Maybe around the second trimester. Ugh probably one of the more annoying symptoms.

im 30 week pregnant and I have a runny nose/ cold and it's very uncomfortable to sleep. What can I do or take?

Anyone have sore throat and runny nose before their missed period and have BFP later? I'm expediency this and many other symptoms but no positive yet.

Hi, i was just wondering if cold symptoms such as a low grade fever or runny/stuffy nose could be an early pregnancy symptom. im pretty sure its too early for symptoms to arise, being as its only been 5 days..but im concerned..any help is appreciated.

That sounds like a cold or a bug, not pregnancy rhinitis...I had a cold and mine lasted a little over a week. Hope you feel better!

m also finding that I have a little more saliva than usual, I have no pinching/tugging, just the cramping so far, and mildly runny nose, but I had never thought these were pregnancy symptoms till you said! We don't have very good HPT's where I live and the last time I was PG, I didn't get a clear positive till I was almost 5 weeks so I'm not sure whether I should even bother. One year olds can sometimes put a foreign body in the nose which can cause runny nose. Check that out with an ENT. Also check out a deviated nasal septum. Hay fever and allergic rhinitis should be ruled out. Persistence of RSV should also be looked into. Normally the food allergens cause only gastric symptoms. However if the allergen is absorbed and reaches the airways it can cause hay fever and asthma like symptoms. Hope this helps.

I had a minor sore throat that went away after one day..i had a runny/stuffy nose for a week, with a cough, some muscle pain here and there. this lasted a week or so...then I was fine for a whole week. and then after a week of being fine I got sick again, with a runny/stuffy nose, and a cough. Is this anything i should be worried about. why would i get sick then get well than get sick again all in a month? I dont have any fever or night sweats.

Getting a cold or the influenza virus is nothing to do with being pregnant. It is just coincidental that you have experienced this at the beginning of each of your pregnancies. We catch colds and flu when our immune system is lowered and we have been exposed to the airborne virus by people coughing and sneezing. Germs are also passed by they hands and if the virus is on your hands and you touch your eyes, you will have contaminated yourself by that way too.

weeks ago i picked up a straw from the ground in water at the park with cuts. and now i have a runny nose few days ago . . i never engaged in any sexual activity or do drugs. does my runny nose have anything to do with the fact i picked up a used straw with cuts on my hand? should i be concerned?

And many women experience a stuffy nose in early pregnancy because the sudden increase in blood volume causes swelling in your sinuses...but...this can also be because of a change in the weather, etc. I wouldn't count is as a sign, sorry! Okay so I took a birthing class and they said flu symptoms are a sign of pregnancy especially after nesting a lot and I did for like 4 days straight now I'm extremely emotional horrible feeling achey had diarrhea yesterday and a Lil today. I don't know really. I have had sneezing through out my pregnancy but when I got the flu shot it seemed to get worse, and I did get a runny nose bad. That all being said, even if that happens, I still believe getting a flu shot is better then not getting one.

I've had alot of nasal congestion, stuffy/runny nose and a bad cough. I've been sleeping ALOT! Also I've taken some Tylenol (just 2 a day) and to help sleep I'll take benedryl (2 at night) I'm slowly getting better.

Yes. Me. Theres was some days where i was throwing up & my nose was just bleeding out of no where. It doesnt anymore doe only when i was in my first trimester. Im 16 weeks now & at times when I'm blowing my nose some blood comes out & it isint liquidy either. I think its normal. Since I saw that can be one of the preganacy symptoms. My nose be runny too & I guess it might be that.

STD symptoms never show the next day and his symptoms ar enot even from an STD. Runny nose=cold, nose bleed=dry air? Here is my advice, it is always best for people who are sexually active to test for STD. I would advise for you to get tested just because you are sexually active.
