In the last couple of days I have developed a sore throat and when looking at my tonsils there a pockets of white puss on them. I have started seeing a guy who is probably at high risk of having some kind of STD because of his sexual background and has never been tested for STDs before. Last week I gave him unprotected oral sex though I didn't get any sperm in my mouth.

My throat has been sore for almost a month now. There has not been much discomfort expect for the few odd days. It just looks a fairly red and sore. There are no bumps or puss associated with this. Though on the side of my cheek (inside my mouth) on the left side I can see a small circle where the top layer is skin is gone, but again no real signs of bumps, sores etc so I don't know if it's related. Overall, I have thought this could be a viral form of tonsillitus.

It was really weird, a few days before my period was due, i woke up with a sore throat and stuffy nose... I thought it was allergies but when I went to google "sore throat stuffy nose", a search popped up saying "early pregnancy symtoms"... Apparently women get what they think is a cold be ause your body is lowering its immune system so it doesnt attack the "baby"... 4 days later i got a positive pregnancy test. I had no other symptoms.

I have a sore throat.. gas and gas pains.. sore achey body and a small fever... should I worry?? or call the doctor? It scares when I am sick when I am pregnant.

I have an 15 year old cat who seems might have a sore throat. She trys to eat dry food but can not. She will eat a small portion of canned food. I am starting to get a small cold. So far its just burning eyes, I've been sneezing, my nose is runny & my throat is so sore. The sore throat pain is the worse. Since I cant call my Dr right now, what can i take for the soreness? I read that honey, lemon & water works but that sounds nasty right now & i dont want an upset stomach on of it. I read cough drops are ok but then that they are not. Any suggestions?

Thanks but its weird I haven't gotten a sore throat or anything throat related since i got my tonsils removed my senior year of high school I was 17 I use to get strep 7 or more times a year it would be so bad I would have white patches and swelling to the point I couldn't breath
