It depends on when implantation occurs, which can happen anywhere from 7 - 12 dpo (i think). Some women swear that they had pregnancy symptoms as soon as 1-2 dpo, however hcg (the hormone that causes pregnancy symptoms) isn't produced until implantation occurs. So, if you implanted on 10 dpo, or so, then you would probably have enough hcg in your system to see symptoms 2-3 days after. So, in short, symptoms occur 2-3 days after implantation, generally.
If you just got off of your period on the 4th, today is the 9th, then it would be way early to take a pregnancy test, unless you were already pregnant and just had bleeding for 5 days, but not what is called a period. You could try a hpt and see what it says. I am pregnant now with my second child and stomach pain and hot flashes were never a symptom of early pregnancy for me, but everybody is different.
My last period started the 6/3/11 and lasted for 5days.. i calculated ovulation to occur on the 19th. We tried on the 16th and 18th. Since the 17th i have been getting cramping and a slight heaviness in my lower abdo region, my boobs are only just starting to get sore today 25/03 (this is normal for me 1 week prior to my period). my partner stated that i am 10x moodier than normal and she noticed i have been eating alot more than normal. I have also been exhausted by 6pm which is rare for me..

I am very confused. I was expecting my period by April 24th (at the latest), which is exactly 4 weeks after my last period. Almost always, however, it's a 2-3 days short of 4 weeks. So, on the 25th, I took a home pregnancy test and it was positive.
A little background info: my last period began on February 27th, which exactly 3 weeks after the previous period (that one began on February 6th). That's definitely early for me.
Well with my first pregnancy i tested too early. I waited a few days after my missed period an i had two negative tests which upset me cos we were trying. After another week i did another test and it was positive. This time i just knew i was pregnant i gave it two weeks til i tested. I think it varys really. Some tests are better than others. Generally u feel crampy anyway an u mite start feeling a bit sick or off certain foods. Or u mite have sore breasts. Hope this helps.

It has been almost 3 months since my last period. I have had four home pregnancy tests and They all are negative. I have had a history of IBS, my adomen is hard, bloated, and sore in my ovaries. I also have small ovarian cysts as well in the past. My breasts feel like they getting bigger, but I tend to obcess about things and maybe my brain is playing tricks on me. Maybe my boobs are getting bigger and it's completely natural...

Ok I was reading and they say that shortness of breath can be an early sign of pregnancy. Also that lower back pain and sickness at night can be signs. I'm 20 years old, with half way regular periods. my lmp was October 18. I had unprotected sex on October 31. I haven't has a period for November yet. normally if I'm late its only by a day or two, maybe three days tops. I don't have any signs of PMS. I feel like I'm not going to have a period. but I also don't feel pregnant. idk if I have any symptoms to be pregnant. I'm wondering if its possible n should I test? Like Ashelen said, the only way to know is to take a test and you are too early to do that. All you can do is to wait and test. Sorry we can not help you more, but there is no way we can tell you yes or no that you are pregnant. A lot of pregnancy symptoms can be PMS. I thought for sure I was pregnant last month (trying for baby number two), I was even a day or two late for my period but I wasn't pregnant. I was peeing a lot, my boobs were sore, my nipples hurt like heck...
