It really depends on the person. I was on bc for 8 years stopped taking it last week in march 2012 when my pack ran out got pregnant 3 weeks later now 32 wks. I was worried it would take me a long time or I wouldn't be able to get pregnant.

I was on BC for 5 years, never missed a pill and fell PG, defo possible

Also, if I took a pregnancy test, is it true that because I'm on birth control the results would be skewed because of that?

anytime that you have unprotected sex you risk the chance of pregnancy, even being on birth control. I have plenty of friends who were on their bc religiously and still got pregnant.

All my pregnancies i got pregnant on birth control my daughter i was on the depo shot my 2nd pregnancy i lost the baby but i was on the Nuevo ring and this pregnancy i got pregnant on the pill which i took daily never missed a day
