Take a copy of your human rights act to your boss manager and if she still keeps doing it maybe go to higher management. If all that fails do you have a workers union in your country we have a group of people dedicated to protecting workers rights. Someone like that may help or even try getting advice from a lawyer if there is none of this in your country. I hope things work out for you.

The Pregnancy Discrimination Act protects things like that and establishes pregnancy as a temporary disability, making it a protected class. If they were to do that it would be discrimination and you'd have a lawsuit, which they wouldn't want to risk.

Had me filling ice and everything else under the sun that my doctor told me I couldn't do. I showed up for my shift one day and they told me I wasn't working that day when I was scheduled. I understand exactly how you feel!!

I had such a horrible pregnancy first trimester i was always náuseas, and would get sent home because i would be throwing up at work. Sometimes i felt sick before going and i would still show up if i couldn't take it anymore i would then tell them i was leaving. Atleast i showed up and tried to work.

I got in trouble for going to the bathroom to much or too long, I'm constipated and if I have to poo, it take a while for me to get to a safe spot to stop (sorry tmi) and I also got in trouble for getting water to much , or needed a snack, like an orange during my shift ! Isn't that wrong ???
Avatar f tn You could argue that traveling very long isnt good for you or the baby once your farther along. Your legs will camp up and if your anything like me driving makes me more nauseous, so I just couldn't see myself doing that every day. Plus I think that might actually be considered discrimination since they would not be possibly moving you if you weren't pregnant. Idk, but I would definetely check more into it. Good luck!
