Avatar f tn I had my last period on Aug 23 to Aug 27. I had sex with Guy A on Aug 30 going into Aug 31, and Guy B Sept 4. The ovulation calendar say I ovulated on the Sept 6, took pregnancy after being 1 day late(Sept 20) becuz I was have sore breast, pregnancy test came back positive.
606075 tn?1228535183 like LauraB78 said pregnancy is 40 weeks - roughly a little less than 10 months - if you think about it the first 2 weeks your not actually pregnant (b/c they date pregnancy from first day last menstrual period and we don't conceive until 2 weeks later than that)- which makes pregnancy 38 weeks. Then if you calculate into the figures that every calendar month is not exactly 28 days (all are 30 or 31 except february) it adds up roughly the other 2 weeks.
Avatar n tn I had intercourse on the last day of my menstrual cycle with a condom. What is the likeliness of these being signs of pregnancy? My period is always normal and I've never had spotting before. I am currently ovulating according to my calendar.
Avatar f tn Pregnancy is measured as 280 days from first day of your last menstrual cycle (day 1 of bleeding) to full term birth. It's measured as 266 days from assumed date of conception to full-term birth. If you use the first, 280-day measurement, and IF you think a month is 28 days long (not very realistic since only February is that short) you can get to 10 months using the count from first day of your last period to full term.
Avatar f tn Umm all pregnancies are tracked from last menstrual period bc you always get pregnant after that lol. They count from the first day of your last period. And your dr is normal. Most choose not to see you until 8-12wks. Theres no reason to be seen sooner.
Avatar f tn Your doctor determines how many weeks pregnant you are based on the first day of your last menstrual period and ultrasound results. This test provides a different estimate. Please note that ... pregnancy dating is dependent on the circumstances of the patient. Agreement of Weeks Estimator results with clinical findings ranged widely from 45-99%." _____ The amount of hCG in the urine can vary a lot (even in the same day), and all any pregnancy test does is measure that amount.
Avatar n tn Keep a calendar and mark the last day of your menstrual cycle and the day your ovulation test is positive. It will help you know your ovulation day for each cycle and if it varies. Also, if you have not been successful, that calendar will better help you and your doctor with your fertility and treatment if needed. Good Luck!
Avatar f tn So I had my last menstrual period on the 2 of Nov. I haven't gotten my menstrual period for the pas 2 months I did 2 pregnancy test and both came out negative wht should I do???
Avatar f tn The other thing to remember when you say "I don't have a date for my periods," is that you should not expect it to come on a given day of the calendar month, since when you think about it, the calendar is unstable in that regard. February only has 28 days, May has 31.
Avatar n tn You count the length of your cycle from the first day of your last period to the first day of your next period. The length of your mentration does not calculate. Once you know the average length of your cycle, you can find out when you are supposed to O.
Avatar f tn Hey guys, so Aunt Flo came by last month on the 31st of January. Feb doesn't have 31 days in it..only 29. So when will Aunt flo visit again? March 4th?
Avatar f tn Ovulation is the lead event and the period is the end event, not the other way around. The last period doesn't start a cycle that causes ovulation, instead, ovulation starts a cycle that then causes a period. The body sloughs off its uterine lining 14-15 days after ovulation, even for women who are irregular in their cycles.
Avatar f tn My cycles seem to be at least 30 days. and I think I am about a little over 20 days into it.
Avatar f tn Is it okay for your period to come any day? Say January it came like on d 8th and in Feb it came on the 17th. Is it okay for it to move dates?
Avatar f tn It took me about two years to get a menstrual cycle that I could depend to come on the same time each month. I have a virtual menstrual calendar that does the calculating for me. You can get a home pregnancy test. The best home pregnancy tests are first response.
Avatar f tn It's always tricky and a best guess, right? First, congrats on the pregnancy! That's really exciting and I hope you update us with how you are doing. I looked at a calendar and to me, it looks like the date you give in Oct. wasn't implantation but your period. That's a guess. What does your doctor say?
Avatar m tn If it was just computed on a calendar from the first day of your last period, they might not be as reliable.
Avatar f tn I just wanted to know why my nurse would give me a different due date than every app or calendar would. My last menstrual was Jan.25th. The due date calendar days Nov.1. She says October 20th(my birthday). How can that be accurate? Perhaps, if I got pregnant near my period only right?? Thanks ladies.
Avatar f tn Ok I was supposed to start my period today by what my cycle calendar predicted. No period so far I've been tracking my symptoms on the calendar and updating it throughout the day earlier I noticed that although my settings were not changed its automatically changing my period to start date to tomorrow around 5 today then a little while ago it changed again to Tuesday!! I haven't changed my cycle info or anything like that. Have any of you ladies ever had this happen???
