So I did a due date calculator thing because I was bored. I am lost it says my first trimester begin on June 22 but I didn't have sex until June 29th and July 6th and my doctor told me my due date was the same as what the calculator gave me which was March 29th. I don't understand how my first trimester could of begin on the 22 if I didnt have sex until the days I listed. Sorry first time pregnancy 18 years old lol. Some one help explain?

I don't know about "normal" ovulation but if you had sex a day after your period than chances of pregnancy is low. Your chances are high if you have sex during ovulation or immediately after because the egg only has a 24 hour window to be fertilized. It seems your ovulation won't be for another week to week and a half after your period. If you want the date(s) where you are highly fertile I recommend doing an ovulation calculator which can be found online.
So i used the pregnancy calculator right and with my peiord being a 28-34 day cycle it indicated that i was pregnant. With that been said last wednesday my period should have came?
Yesterday or today should show you a positive home pregnancy test if you are pregnant. If you are indeed pregnant, it goes by the first day of your last period. If you started your last period on February 15, then you would be approx 29 days pregnant which is about 4 weeks and 1 day. You can't always determine that you are for sure having implantation bleeding though so make sure you are really pregnant.

Ovulation, and therefore conception, occur 14 days before your period was due and you can get pregnant from making love up to 5-6 days before ovulation happens. If you have a 28-day menstrual cycle -- which is assumed by many healthcare providers -- that means that you ovulated on day 14. If your cycle is a few days longer, you probably ovulated after day 14, and your baby may arrive a few days after your estimated due date.
If your period started October 10th then the 23rd was Day 14 of your cycle. Statistically, that's actually the day you were MOST likely to get pregnant. You'll have to get a DNA test, it sounds like.
if u go on google and find a pregnancy calculator which was very accurate for me , type in the 1st day of ur last period, how many days ur cycle is and it should tell u a due day and how far along u really are :) congrats ....

Usually your doctor will go by the last day of your most recent period! So, for example, mine was Feb. 27th- I actually conceived march 14th, but as they go by the last day of period, my due date was DEC. 4th. Hopefully that helps! You can always look up a due date calculator on Google but the most reliable way to tell will be your 8 week ultrasound! If you haven't gone to an obstetrician or a midwife yet, you need to do so as soon as possible! Good luck!

Hi guys recently found out I'm pregnant I'v contacted midwife an waiting for a date to see her . I had my last period on 8th of May but around 2 weeks later I was bleeding but only for a day or two which I though I was having another period as I'm quite irregular , at the time I didn't no I was pregnant and am now curious as to when I actully conceived and how far along I am . Any help would be much appreciated .
i quite agree with you. freaks a lot of fathers out. but, from the first day of your last period it is. maybe because conception has quite a timeframe where it can occur after sex...i don't know. i'd prefer if they used a likely conception time as the start of pregnancy though.
Actually if your normal cycle is 28 days, according to this calculator you conceived July 7th, but if you go by your due date which would mean your cycles are 30 days, then July 9....

then youll count 4 weeks 1 day 2 day and so on until you get to 4 weeks 6 days then then next day will be 5 weeks. Google due date calculator and they will show you pictures and itll help you understand better! by the way congrats on your pregnancy!
If she has a healthy pregnancy, I think you can take this pregnancy calculator to the bank, with a due date of July 8. As Annie mentioned, sometimes things can get confusing if you go by when menstrual periods are due, but early ultrasounds don't get very confusing. An ultra sound performed about a month after conception is accurate.
So. Working back from the due date, my calculator shows she got pregnant Oct. 15. That would be you.
