pregnancy acne face wash

So I am looking for some ideas as to which face wash I should get? Somebody told me to use Johnson and Johnson baby wash. Did anybody ever hear of that? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I would say wash your face 3 times a day with face wash. Also use alcohol to dry the bumps up after every wash.!!!!

my face is really dry these days. i wash my face every morning and night with a moisturing face wash. but only recently i have been getting dryer skin. I have no face moisturising cream only body lotion. What do i do ??

You're lucky you just have it on your face that's how my pregnancy acne started out and then spread to my scalp my chest and my back gross and nothing gets rid of it it's purely hormonal I tried to use remedies that would usually cure my menstrual acne and it just makes everything worse

I'm just dealing with mine but my friend recommended an acne face wash for pregnant women. She thinks it's made by baby bell or belly bell or something like that. Good luck!

I had the same problem in early pregnancy. Just wash your face with a gentle cleanser without the acid stuff and wash your face in the morning and before bed, and limit the make up you wear if you wear any.

I had it with both my pregnancies, one boy, one girl. I just use dove soap to wash my face since you are not supposed to use acne meds. My midwife recommended dove since it also is a big of a moisturizer. I also use the carrots moisturizer.

I know there have been a number of posts, but did anyone suggest anything that works and is safe? My face and (t.m.i.) back are disgusting... I have NEVER had such bad acne in my life! Thanks ladies!

I started breaking out the last couple weeks of my pregnancy & after I had my daughter. My face looked really bad. I use Clinique & it works really good. I have sensitive skin & I love clinique. It's kind of expensive but it works. Now I am 38 weeks with my 2nd child and every time I break out I use my Clinique & my face clears right up.

i was curious how to tell if a new face wash is right for your skin. the first couple of days made my skin better, but now i seem to have a couple more zits formed, and my skin seems oilier. i dont know if its because its drawing out all of the impurities, or if its not right for my sensitive skin. how long should i keep using it for also? just in case it is right, i dont want to give up too soon. thanks.

I have terrible stress acne and then adding hormone acne on top my face was just terrible.

I always have troble when using a new face wash, ill break out alot worse. I have been using apricot scrub for years and live by it...

Did any of you ladies get really bad pregnancy acne? If so what did you guys use and did it go away during pregnancy or untill after birth?

I wash face twice a day with my normal face wash. Also I use a sulfer face mask by acne free. Lush has good face masks too my favorite is magaminty mask that has a cooling mint feeling.

Hi!! Ok so my question is... Has anyone experienced pregnancy acne? I'm 10 weeks and wondering if anyone here has experiences it, when it ended and what you did or took that successfully worked. But what really help keep the acne down was a hot water facial wash and alcohol. I stopped using soap and water to wash my face and just used hot water it cleans the pours and steams the face getting out the dirt and oil.

s this stuff called drying lotion from Mario badescu you can get it at ulta just wash your face every night and dab that on it cleared my face in like 3 days and I had the worst acne Ever I wish I had known about this stuff with my first pregnancy

I had facewash and makeup i bought cheap at the store but when i broke out, i splurged on mary kay face wash and face make up (i used the wash on my chest and back) my acne was GONE in 3-6 weeks!

I use lemon juice every night after i wash my face to get my makeup off. Its like astringent but without the chemicals. I suffered from horrible acne in the first trimester. It helps a lot. I just put it on a cotton ball and apply to my entire face then rinse with warm water.

Using face/acne wash is not going to harm your baby, just stay away from sasylic acid. Tons of women use face wash through pregnancy it's not bad.

Had the same thing. Let's just say mine stayed until 23 weeks but then it got significantly better thereafter. At the Time it was face and neck.the worst I ever saw or had. Then it started on chest and back but little itchy ones. I will be 32 weeks tomorrow and my main issue now is oily skin. It has been an issue since first tri, but it sometimes comes with a few pimples. Also have a rash that's just stuck around since third tri.

) idk lol I have the same problem since I got pregnant too. Wash your face with something gentle n non abrasive no exfoliation or anything. I wipe my fave off with hydrogen peroxide and a wash cloth and then put on lotion. It has helped a ton, I still have a lil acne but its A LOT more manageable. Good luck!

I am wondering what, if anything, you ladies use to treat your acne during pregnancy. I ahve always had a little, but being pregnant is turning me into a giant red zit : ) I know it is normal and I am okay with it, I am just wondering what is okay and what is not. I have read a lot of conflicting information. I currently have Proactiv Solution, which is benzoyl peroxide. Some things I read say that i okay, some things say to use nothing at all.

tightens the skin and helps w acne and blemishes. I see a difference immediately. Also I wash my face three times a day instead of twice now. Good luck!
