I went to the doctor 12 days ago was told I had bronchitis and asthma Got z pack and prednisone and prednisone shot. Not any better - now slight cough, headache, congestion, dizzy and flushed and at night wake up all sweaty.
I've been battling molluscum and have nasty eczema and a bit of a secondary infection from picking the bumps. Dr. prescribed me prednisone and ciproflox. I'm sooo itchy all over but i don't want to take prednisone if it's going to make the molluscum worse. Is the prednisone a bad idea?

So I began another regimen of Amox-Clav 875mg, prednisone, cough syrup with hydrocodone in it, After finishing all of that round of medicines, I felt better but still not back to myself at all. I have a call in there today, she is also shaking her head a lot , and rubbing her ears , they think she may have ear infection, so will find out today, but thankyou for the help.... she does have severe seizures why all the meds, but this seems to be additional, they seem to think it sounds like ears problem...

s a godsend of a medication lol. I had a double ear infection, double sinus infection, and stage 1 phumonia(sp), and Zithromax had me cleared up and feeling better withen the same night of taking it. I was also worried to take it at first, so I called almost every pharmacy in town and asked about it, and I got the same answer, which is it's safe, and I even called my doc and double checked with him lmao.
Zithromax does cross into the placenta, but not as much as other antibiotics.
General Practitioner prescribed a course of antibiotics for 10 days and 60mg of prednisone for 5 days(20mg pill every 8 hours), ending last week. Since the rash and/or infection is still not cleared, I saw a dermatologist and I have been prescribed a new course of antibiotics and the Desoximetasone cream, which I am supposed to apply twice a day for two weeks.
I am on my third round of anti-biotics for a sinus infection and cannot get any relief. The first round was 14 days (cannot remember name) along with a one week supply of Prednisone. He did check her throat and chest, said they were clear. She has not been tested for asthma. As for the prednisone, the first time, and this time it's for 4 days each. I think when she finishes the prednisone this time, I will go back to the pseudophedrine. I have vicks rub. Thanks for replying.

I didn't take it along with the prednisone because I wasn't sure if it will interfere. But now that I finished the prednisone, is it safe to take it now?
s either a bee sting or a wasp sting he gave me .20 mg of prednisone 3 pills for 10 days....why is that? I thought I should get an antibiotic.
I did a search recently that eluded to Prednisone being capable of regrowing hair IF the cause is from an infection. I know Prednisone can regrow hair if the cause is bacterial or fungal... I don't know if it's capable if it's viral?
Q: Can prednisone regrow hair if the cause is an adrenal or thyroid issue?
My son is 15 and has suffered with asthma since age 5. He has asthmatic bronchitis and allergies. He's been on prednisone for attacks since age 5. He takes allergy shots. He blows 124% on PFTs when he is well, lower when he is sick but still 100+. Dr. said his lung capacity is approx. 120+ percent of normal. This last episode, Dr. found reduced but good lung function as measured by PFT, no sinus infection and says he is moving air.
