16 weeks after exposure I had a oral ulcer around the throat area i have had soft stools on and off for the last couple of years. I recently developed Guttate Psoriasis and eventually Psoriatic Arthritis. I have read that Guttate Psorias and Psoriatic Arthritis were some times pre cursors to AIDS pre Haart era, but my tests say I am negative 4 ELISA through 2 year period post exposure.
After doing a bit more research, I stumbled across a few websites that stated there is a correlation between streptococcal bacteria and a form of psoriasis, called guttate psoriasis. Have you ever heard of this? After looking into this form of psoriasis, it seemed rather fitting. The rash on my body did present itself as sporadic, circular dots with a bit of a white "crust". They never blistered, oozed, or bled. They were however, a bit itchy.
I’ve had them for around a month. I live in Malawi, Southern Africa. At first I thought it was psoriasis, as I’ve had guttate psoriasis in the past, but now I don’t think so. It isn’t very itchy, and has spread a bit, but not markedly. The rash in my groin is red/orange colour and scaly/plaque-like, with lots of tiny red bumps and dots, while the one on my stomach is a small oval ring shape, with an outer edge that’s redder. Could it be ringworm or another fungal infection?
she put me on a steriod and it didnt work, put me on another and it didnt work, told me to go to a dermotologist. The dermotologist looked at it and immediate told me it was guttate psoriasis put me on minocycline and cream, the rash went away in a matter of day though I still have some scaring on my legs.
My sister has had the skin condition for about a week, and its on a lotion type medication for psoriasis. I just got the marks on my chest this morning, and also used the lotion, which so far has made no difference. I don't know when my sister's roommate got the spots on her face.
Does anyone have any type of idea on what the condition could be?
m sick and no one believes me cause my symptoms are sweating, weakness, bad taste in mouth and stomach irritation and newly diagnoses guttate psoriasis. I never feel good anymore but my blood tests are fine. My body is attacking itself. I feel better and then whammo - start feeling really bad again. Think it might be something with my immune system cause of the psoriasis but I'm starting to think it must be my stomach. Had bariatric surgery 12 yrs ago.

The cracks of skin I experience are usually surrounded by dry skin, and the last few times I have noticed there has been actual flaking to an extent. I was diagnosed with guttate psoriasis 2 years ago, and have always had dry skin, and flaking on my scalp. I am wondering if this is an extension of psoriasis? The cracked skin has stopped as of a month ago since I started applying small amounts of baby oil after my showers. I am concerned that 1. I am treating this wrong, 2.
m bleeding constantly i get quite painful cramps my hair is falling out like mad my eczema and psoriasis has flaired up terrible which is bad enough on its own as I have guttate psoriasis , it feels a lot like the later stages of pregnancy without the bump , has anyone else got this problem? Or any advice on what to do about it?
About a week after finishing the antibiotics, I broke out in a rash which turned out to be guttate psoriasis. Before seeing an expert about my skin I had the Dr.s test me for hiv (which was about a month after the unprotected sex) it came back negative, but I'm also aware that this may have been too soon. I was also told that I still had strep throat and was put on another round of antibiotics, which finally kicked it. My psoriasis cleared up as was predicted.

Another possibility is guttate psoriasis which causes small, red, and scaly teardrop-shaped spots on the arms, legs, and middle of the body. Few other possibilities could be allergies, eczema, fungal infection etc. General measures to prevent excessive skin dryness like use of mild soapless cleansers may help. Frequent skin lubrication, use of over-the-counter moisturizers such as Cetaphil may provide some relief. Seek the opinion of a dermatologist. Treatment will depend on the cause.
Thanks for your help. Turned out to be guttate psorisis and the doctor prescribed augmentin and clobex spray. I'm on day six of ten now and the bumps are drying up.
I went to a dermatologist, which they determined my skin irritation to be Guttate Psoriasis. Applied a steroid creme and amoxicillin and it went away (except for my scalp).

Once in awhile i would get a small rash at the tip of my penis, but would go away after 3-4 days with the help of antibotic ointment and some basic anti-fungal creme (I think I had a minor case of balantis from hygene and excessive masturbation causing irritation to the skin).
My son has them, says he always feels like he has something in his throat, and has been suffering from a rash going on now for six months. The dermatologist diagnosed it as guttate psoriasis. When I read about it they say it comes from a strain on the immune system. Wondering if anyone with these tonsoliths had a rash as well? Thanks.
Also the same time all of these spots started appearing all over my body which I think is guttate psoriasis. Both conditions seem to be getting worse. I had std,HIV and full blood work done and all came back normal. Could the antibiotics have caused this or would it be something more sinister?

its possible that it can do it, what did you take prednisone for? its used for immune disorders, eczema,psoriasis, etc.
certain medications work differently for everyone.
