I called my doc, and he said some people reported back pain with the Prednisone and Zithromax combo so he is having me take a low dose 200mg of Alieve to see if it takes the pain away. If the pain doesn't go away or lower in intensity then I have to go to L&D, we are trying to rule out back labor/side effects of my meds.
This is also my 4th child, I never really noticed dropping in my pregnancies before, and I have noticed it this time around.
I have had tinnitus and vertigo for many years. 7 years ago I was put on prednisone for myalgia pain. My pain went away but it had no affect on my hearing. It did affect my belly....it bloated out like a pregnant woman...lol...I got off prednisone back in january of this year. If you can avoid it then avoid it. If you need it for other reasons and not for hearing then I guess you have to continue taking it until it does not good for you.
I have severe back pain , my family doctor prescribe me hydromorphone 4 mg after 2 months she gave me dilaudid hydromorphone , 4 mg twice a day but pain dosent goes but it increases, doctor told me my spine had fractured and I am using braces for that , but my pain is increasing day by day ,now my doctor gave my back pain Tylenol tablet (but they are for muscular pain and I have pain in my bone ,spine) should I increase morphine doses?will medically marijwana work ?
I was put on a course of prednisone. Soothed the pain at the higher doses then came back as I weened myself off the prednisone. (Also, I completely lost my appetite and lost 10 lbs.) Recently I was admitted into Hospital with severe abdominal pains and weight loss. I also started having lower back pain that acts up mostly at night. The back pain is so bad that I have trouble walking and sleeping. My GI has run all the test and found nothing and is not sure if it is related to the UC however when the back pain gets the area of my colitis also flares up. Does anyone know if this back pain can be associated with the Colitis? Or has anyone had this symptom before?
This cause the pain to come back. I decided I would just take advil and wait for the pain to go away but after 3 months it was still with me. I went to a second doctor who prescribed dexilant for the acid reflux I was experience after taking ibuprofen for the past few months. He told me to come back if it the pain didnt go away after 4 days.
After another couple of weeks I went to a third doctor. He did a cbc blood test h pylori blood test and took a couple of x rays.
I was prescribed prednisone 20mg qd x 7 days for right shoulder and neck pain, provider thought that I my muscles was swollen on the inside. I tood prednisone 20mg for 2 days and began having anxiety symptoms, I was feeling jittery, felt like like I was dying, having right side pain by breast and top of rib cage, right leg pain, I just felt terrible, my bp began to become elevated, heart racing, crazy thoughts going through my head.
Two days ago I began experiencing pain in the lower right side of my back. The pain is also present in my right hip and partially down my right thigh. When I put weight on my right leg the pain becomes worse. Sitting and lying down can be uncomfortable at times. Certain movements also seem to make it worse.
Ok so I went off of iv steroids and now have 2 weeks of prednisone to take and this is my 2nd day. I feel a crawling sensation on left side of face. I feel like the tip of my tongue in tingly, I am seeing stars every now and then and some stomach pain. Just need reassurance this is normal? I thought I was supposed to have energy but it 5pm and I'm tired. I dont like this feeling.
m really scared - could anyone who has taken this medication for this condition give me any advice? Did it seem to help? How long were you one the prednisone? I'm already obese and am really worried about the weight gain from prednisone. I'm hoping that I won't be on this medication long.
For example, had you have known that the heavy wallet you kept for the past 30 years in your right rear pocket couple with driving an automobile with the seat all the way back, plus adding in an extra 20 pounds around the waste is the real problem not the pain in your back. The wallet causing you to sit off center and the driving with your legs straight out forces you to pull on your lower back instead of pulling the seat closer using more of your knees than back might show you some relief.
a month ago I started getting a (very) random stabbing/burning pain in the back of my left leg about 4 inches above my knee. The first time it happened I had been riding in the car for about 2.5 hours (with two stops during the trip). The pain was so bad it dropped me to me knees.I figured it was the long car ride. I have gotten twinges of it since, but today I was waking up and just laying in bed and it happened again. It hurts intermittently for a couple of minutes and then stops.
The entire time I had a low grade fever. On the 25th I few to Vegas. While there I developed low back pain, continued low grade fever and pain with eye movement.
On 3/28, while flying home my fever spiked at 101.6 and I had the chills. Got home, took my pill and went to bed. I woke at 1am with rigors and was FREEZING! Didn't take my temp but got another blaknet for the bed and went to sleep.
On 3/30 I woke still feverish and slightly chilled.
I take 800 ADVIL when the pain gets really bad and when it is unbearable I go on PREDNISONE for 7 days. I do not do the prednisone more than 2X a year.
